Most zeppelins used helium to fly, which is less flammable. We refused to sell helium to the Germans, so they were forced to use hydrogen, which is very flammable

Hindenburg used Hydrogen which is highly flammable as a gas, since the allies embargoed helium (The main gas used to fly zeppelins) which meant if a bullet hit Hindenburg it would go up in flames but in a normal zeppelin it would take time

@@CariHere Zeppelins need to keem helium inside to fly and don't fly with full on giant storage rooms inside full of german soldiers and with 200 holes inside of em

@@no3ironman11100 actually the first few zeppelins that ran on helium had segregated helium tanks meaning even if they lost enough to go down, they wouldn't really hit too hard to kill anyone, additionally the incendiary bullet wasn't invented until later in the war, witch was the zeppelins major weakness surprisingly alota holes just weren't enough.
