Thanks! I feel the maps in BF2 are pretty balanced (for both sides) for a game released in 2005. The jets and helis are overpowered for sure but the learning curve is high so I don't bother to learn them.

I think Heli is easier than Jet and often less competitive. Follow the advice I just also posted to GalaxyTraveller to improve your heli skills: best way is to practice is offline. No waiting times and you can challenge yourself in trying to achieve a higher score every round to improve accuracy of your TV missile skills. For seatswitching change the "F2" key in the setting to "spacebar" so you can seat switch from pilot to gunner in no time. Also put all your settings to 10 when you fly heli (pitch- , yawfactor and sensitivity). For singleplayer I use the map Dragon Valley, its the best to practice. Try to get as many kills as possible in those 15 mins! :) at least 40 and I guess max. 80 are possible - depending on how quickly enemy tickets decrease by the amount of flags your´re holding. Another thing is become squad leader and set a "move target" onto the map. The range of TV rockets is 420m, you will be able to use it as a helpline to know how far away from the enemy you can fly as pilot/ shoot as gunner. A way to improve flying is try to fly below pipelines, bridges etc. on that map or fly as close to the ground as possible without crashing. Practice some rolls and you are good to go for most enemies. One more tipp when you hide with the heli use "c" view so you can see above buildings. Whether you are gunner or pilot its always helpful. On multiplayer maps when you fly always fly at the sides of the map with enough distance to enemy until the enemy helicopter and AA are taken down. then you can fly more towards the centre of the map. Some maps like daqing where you have loads of obstacles you can fly low, others like gulf of oman with very open fields you should mostly fly high cuz you cant hide. one last thing for multiplayer: please always spot as a gunner and always look to the very right/left. Even if you think you make the kill just spot first so everyone else on the map is informed and helps you get the kill in case you fail. PLUS your pilot has a very narrow field of view so you spotting will instantly tell him what to do ;)

How to destroy a round or map by capturing airfield this only good for ppl who dont like competition no hard feelings but dragon vally is most annoying when some ppl keep trying his best for airfield puff no fun,

well.. if you are infantry and have airplayers in the enemy team with score 40-1 you might as well think why not capture their main base? Whether its Dragon Valley, Kubra Dam, Wake Island etc. its always the most effective to win over the enemy but at the same time quite difficult. I get your note on the competition but teams are not always balanced.. rather capture a relevant flag like market or woodyard than go for Vista :P

@@reviveproject ahhh but nowdays really this is most useless thing to do on lost soldier when i play its mostly with less players and ppl still capture airfield even with 4vs4 or 8vs8

@@spagatiyeti yeah but this strategy can also be for 2f4y or super@ server. Lost soldiers has never commander for example and I still covered the importance of keeping and destroying assets :P and I agree - when you have almost only airplayers you can also leave airfield to make it more fun

Thx! Fun fact: when I was playing yesterday I saw many people bailing to capture woodward and also going for market 😄 one I killed right after bailing so he was like " you gold me to do this ". And we lost the round so bad, was quite competitive. Nice to see its having an impact
