Any advice on how to fly like you? Do you use joystick? How did you configure it? It seema you move perfectly and fast when in on the Heli i cant avoid enemies that fast, feels like i cant aim steadily either. Anything would be appreciated. Since bf 2 my flying skills have been going only down.

I use keyboard and mouse with default settings. Advice on flying is to just get used to the physics, get a feel how the heli reacts to your inputs and manipulate the momentum so it does what you want to do. This all requires time so I suggest to just keep flying and do some stupid shit to get a feel of what your limits are. I didn't really have to go through a learning process cause I played a lot of Battlefield 4, so I already had a good grip on how the basics were gonna work. Hope this helps somewhat :)

primary is the 30mm cannon. The apache doesn't have it, but the super hokum does for some reason.

the amount of lock ons and the range they have in this game makes flying so incredibly unfun

I wouldn't say its the amount of lock ons that make flying unfun, its the insta lock bug combined with buggy flares that make it unfun. So many time I have come out from behind something and there will be a rocket flying towards me instantly then I flare and it either doesn't work or it does and the rocket relock bug happens. Another thing that makes it unfun is its practically impossible to dodge rockets without getting lucky. Once they fix the bugs and make it so that rockets can be dodged with skill and not luck and even reduce the flare cool down timer by a couple seconds it will make flying a hell of a lot more fun.

Enemies are so hard to see on the ground. How do you identify them so easily?

Enemies have a high light above their head that you may see blink every once and a while whenever he aims at them, its a red diamond. All he does is shoot at the bottom of the red diamond. and if you play a bunch of big scale battle FPS games it gets easier to identify moving enemy targets from friendly ones. Trust me just play Arma 3, and BFs 1, 4, 5. cause the maps are huge, and it trains your eyes to see smaller moving objects and react faster

Ineffective against infantry. I found it to be more convenient using the 30MM cannon instead so I could neutralise infantry myself instead of relying on my gunner :)

It instantly repairs a disabled part of your attack chopper and I guess gives health based off of which part was disabled.

I've been playing since Battlefield 4, so I have a fair amount of time spent doing this. If you practice a lot I think you can get the hang of it in a month or two. it's fairly simple in this game.

Why does feel like you get these kills so easily? I don't doubt your skills I can see you're a great player but I feel like when I'm shooting them I get so many hit marks and no kills I don't get it... Sometimes I be hitting the same freaking soldiers and they don't seem to die its frustrating

In BF2 even more. In BF2 you had to train single player in heli to get used to fly. Now every one can somehow flight for a moment. I remember in BF2 I crushed heli at start many times at the begining. Later I felt Heli. Now it is like a toy, there is no physics at all.

This new battlefield is really lacking detail when it comes to vehicle damage. In BF1 you would see the holes in the wings of the plane as well as fire on tanks when damaged. In this game when the helicopter is on low heal there are no visual indicators on the helicopter to show that it is damaged.
