Its actually 50 quid, works out to be $68.76. They normally price it to be near enough the same price but it wont be exact because 1, they wont price it a random number like 68.76 and 2, currency values change constantly. If it's $80 then that's a bit shit as it'd make more sense for it to be $70. But you guys get enough stuff cheap, it's expensive here, let us have this one haha I'd much rather pay 5x less on fuel and pay like 10x less on a house thats bigger and get a ton of powerful cars for peanuts

The majority of players always found campaigns lackluster and without much replay value so even if they did play the campaign it was a "one and done" scenario, which meant a lot of the budget that went for campaigns was not really used to its fullest potential. This time they focused on what makes battlefield the battlefield people know and love

Same, I always enjoyed a good battlefield campaign, this definitely made the lack of it worth it, albeit the price is still very high, but they've been this expensive for a while now. ​@@devinb3397 I do agree, but not completely, a lot of the assets can be repurposed in multiplayer, other than maps and main character models, animations and voicelines. Could repurpose the singleplayer maps for coop play and some don't spend as much time playing multiplayer.

This is absolutely brilliant. I sincerely hope that they end up supporting this game with these game modes for years to come, rather than rushing out "the next Battlefield" within 2-3 years. This is one of those things where I'd assume the "balance" would be fairly (in theory) similar to eachother. It's a cool concept but there is literally no way you could have a WW2 fighter be in the air with a F35 (or 22 I couldn't completely tell) and in anyway argue the WW2 fighter stands a chance in a dog fight at all. Weapons wise an M1 could take down a modern soldier no problem, weapons I do think will be mostly fine and you could sorta keep them "realistic" but when it comes to 100% modern advances that made things obsolete they'd simply have to be similar or it's just a cool little feature that will die very quickly. WW2 planes are great but just by the pure altitude and speed the modern planes can reach compared to them is a complete disadvantage so MAYBE it'd be map specific. They simply can't be on the same map and be of any use against a modern plane.

The fact that you can make accurate ww2 battles with accurate loadouts and lock the costumizations for soldiers........ I AM DEFINETLY IN FOR THE RIDE

A lot of people pay 60 euros for a single player game, so paying this for a multiplayer game like Battlefield is not that weird.I payed 60 euros for COD Cold War and I'm not interested in the single player. We are getting 7 huge maps like Verdansk to start, with 128 people, vehicles, tanks, heli's, planes and destruction/weather effects. Different gamemodes like conquest, rush, tdm, ... Battlefield Portal with 6 old maps build from scratch, with total freedom and content from 4 Battlefield games to start. And there's another multiplayer experience Hazard Zone still to come. This game is a barging for this price.
