The first shotgun shell goes into the chamber, the remaining ones go into the magazine storage inside the gun, that's why the first one is loaded differently.

The SUPPRESSOR is BY FAR the best attachment on the ACW-R. Here's why: First of all, the gun has almost no drop off, and even without the suppressor, it will take you 6 shots to kill outside of 8 meters. So it doesn't really affect the gun in that aspect, the recoil reduction bonus always helps, and it also keeps you off the minimap! The heavy barrel isn't great because it only extends your drop off end range, but not your drop off start range, therefore not affecting your 5 shot kill range.

L-86 is my favorite LMG; the foregrip reduces recoil and horizontal sway and the extended mag lets you lay down sustained gunfire.

The 1 shell reload he does at first is called a combat reload. It's used when you don't have time to reload it normally, just to quickly slap a bullet in and keep going. You simply rack the pump back put the shell in the ejection port and slide the forend forward, and then simply put it in someone's face. :)

When you press the grenade throw button press and hold the right trigger and you will hold your grenade, it won't blow up in your hand. You can put it away if you go to throw it but decide not to by pressing Y or triangle or whatever it is to switch weapons on PC.

Good video. What's weird about the AUG recoil is that it doesn't pull to the right until after about 5 rounds. If you can keep the burst at 5 rounds, the gun is about as accurate as the SCAR-L. Definitely a headshot beast. Plus its usable on every BF3 map.

ahh the ACW-R, had a blast using it and unlocking the green camo for it. oh and the LSAT, what a nightmare it was using the iron sights! it even made using the ACOG on it more bearable.

Like I said, basically. If you want to get into specifics, then yes, you're correct, but a more general way to think about it is number of pellets found in the shell. I know gauge doesn't refer to pellets, but most of the time a "[number] gauge" shell has the same number of pellets in it as the number of the gauge.

I've been apart of the battlefield community for a long time, and what you say is true. Alot of the older players are thrown off by the type of maps and content in the expansion, but im not so worried about that. What does make me made is premium pushing back release dates and that EA is trying to get as much $ as they can out of games like BF3 these days it's pretty sad

@28:47 thats called "Ghost Loading" for everyones info. since on a pump Shotgun you have to load in tubes, he puts a shell straight into the chamber, closes the bolt, and the continuous to load in the tube, otherwise you would have 1 less shell.

The SCAR-L actually can carry an extra magazine in reserve. If you notice, he had 248 total ammunition instead of the normal 217 of a typical 30+1 assault rifle.

In real life, in general, a weapon that's incredibly similar to an assault rifle, but has a shorter barrel, is considered a carbine. Like the M4, AKS-74U, etc. The SCAR-H has a short barrel, and thus was the Carbine version of the G3, which was before the SCAR-L was introduced. Following that pattern, since the SCAR-L had a longer barrel, it was classified as an assault rifle.

Yo badger, the aug a3 also has another "hidden perk" if you will. It has the highest muzzle velocity of all the assault rifles, so at long range you dont even have to think about leading your target. Its muzzle velocity it comparable to the bolt-action snipers at like 680m/s.

A 12 gauge shotgun is outfitted to fire a 12 gauge shotgun shell. If the Spas shell in BF3 only has 11 pellets, then it is an 11 gauge. A 12 gauge shotgun isn't meant to fire an 11 gauge shell. 11 gauge is also extremely rare and would never be so widely used as it is in this game.

You are arguing an irrelevant point. If you want to get into technicalities, then yes, you are very correct about everything you have said. Also, I wasn't talking about shot, I was talking about buckshot, because that is what is found in BF3. My point is that if you don't know the technicalities of it, the best way to get a general sense of it is to attribute gauge to the number of pellets. In this case I am still correct. 12 pellets in a 12 gauge buckshot shell.

No, just the close quarters expansion pack. May I make a sugestion? If you are considering to "upgrade" your account, don't waste your money purchasing a single expansion pack. It's not worth it. Buying the "Premium" pack will allow you access to all previous and upcoming expansions. I hope I could help you.

Don't use foregrip, the recoil reduction is very slight, and since the recoil is already easily controllable, it is not worth the big accuracy penalty that comes with it. Also, if you are going to use the suppressor, it doesn't complement the foregrip! Don't know why, but those two just don't work well together anymore.

You don't need grip actually, the LSAT has really no horizontal recoil, and putting on a foregrip will make the gun worse and give it less range and more spread, so less accuracy. Using a bipod is more helpful. Unless you want to put on a grip and use it like an SMG.

Yes it is worth the money if you intend to buy all the expansion packs. Premium costs 50 dollar/euros. if you buy all 5 expansion packs (Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath and The End) without premium it will cost you 75 dollars/euros. Buying Premium saves you 25 dollars/euros. And that concludes your advice of the day.

You have obviously misunderstood my point. I am not trying to be rude, nor am I trying to say I am correct. I am not. I understand what you are saying. But there are people who don't understand gauge, shot, etc. I am using basic terms. For someone who doesn't know much about the subject, "pellet" is an easier way to describe it than shot. I also know that the number of buckshot is not the reason for the gauge. Even though my method is not the real way to do it, it still yields nearly same result

Badger, in response to you saying it's nearly impossible to win close quarters against nearly any other weapon with the SCAR-L, I tried it, being the masochist that I am. I ended up as the MVP against a PP-19, a 1014, and an AEK on the enemy team, all in close quarters. My score ended up 51 kills, 21 deaths, 11086 score, sans awards. Apparently I'm actually a god in human form ._.

It's not the games fault. It just takes skill to play, unlike COD. I felt the same way when I first played Bad Company 2. I would be lucky to go 5-20. Now, I play BF3 and my K/D ratio is almost 2. But that isn't the point. BF is an objective game, just try to plant or defuse the bomb, capture the flag, provide sniper support, etc. You will get better.

Actually, it's funny, a close quarters DLC giving us a laser beam of death called Scar-L and a new and better pump shotgun called Spas-12. For me all the guns in this DLC has variations, some are good for short distances with certain accessories, others are good for long distances with other accessories, in short, everyone chooses the gun more comfortable serving for various combat situations.
