LoA I know this is a game but it makes me realize that...even though they say 'kill or be killed' you never think about that person's backstory. Little boy's father will never see him come home because he had been forced to fight for his country, a widowed wife will have to live knowing that the one she loved had his life taken for something that could be resolved in different ways. However in this day and age from a political point of view force is the only option available most of the time. That person that was weak and defenseless on the ground in front of you, as you stare into his eyes you realize your killing your own kind, man's downfall will not be from another entity, but humanity itself will crumble due to greed, blood and vengeance. Soldiers on the battlefield are pawns in another mans game who the man himself is not involved, but he is allowed to put people's lives on the line. Now some people might remember what William Holt said on the starting intro to Medal Of Honour European Assault, if you don't look it up. The sooner governments fall but the law remains, humanity will prosper, but the race for power is the race for the end. Sooner or later someone will win.

I still come back to this amazing video after 10 years now actually. Being born in 1993 I9 saw it all, technology evolve our lives. 2012 was the worst year of my life because at that point everything declined and by that I mean my life around me crumbled, friends died, my gf one day ghosted me without breaking up with me and she was the most impactful one because that summer was the best in California for me. This video entroduced me to blackmill and helped me through it. Battlefield 3 will forever be the best battlefield game in the entire franchise. If only Ea remastered it for us.
