I'm new to the Battlefield series, so i'm not the best sniper but its fun nailing long range headshots. Most kills took between 1-4 shots, Enjoy!

Very nice. I just bought the game 4 days ago, and I would call myself a medium-range sniper, because most of my kills are 200-300 meters, and I'm just starting to get those 400-800m range kills. I found this video really inspiring, and I can't wait to get out on the battlefield! (In about 5 min) lol. Thanks for the upload, subbed.

This is really good, 1 suggestion for future however. It would be nice to know the distance of each headshot, and I personally can't quite make out the Marksman number, so if you could like put in like medium size font in the bottom left of screen the distance of each headshot, that would be pretty cool. Besides that, this is sick!

yeah moving targets are pretty hard. There is two ways you can do it. First way is to track and predict where the enemy is running to. The second way is to track them moving the scope in front of the target judging the distance.

well the best overall is the M98b, however if I had to chosse between the m40a5 or the sv98, then i would choose the sv98. It all comes down to personal preference but for we the m40a5 takes up more screen space and can limit what you see when running. The best attachment for long range sniping is a bi-pod and x12 ballistic scope, however if you are lying prone it is easier to be killed. The Pro method is to stand up with no bi-pod use bolt action attachment so you can make quick follow up shot.

In CoD, the bullet would go straight where the middle of the crosshairs were but in BF3, sniping is REAL. You actually use the bottom crosshairs like a true sniper would do in reality, and plus you analyze how fr the bullet would go.

A lot of people seem to think that the bipod is a stupid attachment if you're a sniper, but I disagree; it's only useless in certain situations; like in a TDM game, for instance. Another term that people like to use for snipers is "camper" when the same person who says that decides to pick up an LMG with a bipod and set up in a window for 10 minutes because it's a good spot; there's really not such thing as "camping". It's playing a long range sniper correctly.

All weapons in this game have bullet drop so its not just a case of aim on the crosshair and shoot (unless at close range). As for learning where to aim, theres 2 ways you can learn. Go to a spot and do some "test" shots of areas you want to snipe too, this will get you dialed in on what line to aim on the scope, then if you miss just adjust the aim according to where the bullet falls. Some of these shots i nailed first time as i knew the range, others took a few more shots to hit.

I had never played any battlefield game before, and i got pwned in most games too until i learned how to play (im still learning). I agree for a new person playing this game expect to be killed a lot!!! However its a challenge to learn the weapons, vehicles and tactics of the game.

It takes a lot to learn the bullet drop of each weapon. But once you get the rough distance for example 300m range, you can just where to aim. Also in the game you might not kill with the first shot so you just adjust the aim a little if you miss. Check out Battlefield 3 - The AMAZING Sniper 2 which I think is much better. Thanks!

Ballistic scope (x12) is best for really long distance. The rifle scope (x8) or one of the (x4) scopes would be best, but really its a compromise. Unless your good at no scoping, for close range I would always use my pistol (Magnum or Rex)

My longest legit head shot was 1.1 KM , from the biggest crane on gulf of Oman to the aircraft carrier. But once i was having a sniper war with my friend and I landed a 1.37 Km head shot.
