When Battlefield 4 came out it wowed everyone with it's map changing destruction events coined Levolution. The game is now 10 years old so I thought I'd do a showcase of all the Levolution events on each map including the DLCs.

My most favourite was the storm. And it caught me off guard, when I took cover on the beach and suddenly heard the foghorn. Oh god, I still have shivers hearing that again. I just turned around and saw that ship! Good times :D I didn´t happen to see the most of those events, sadly, so thank you for catching up with it :)

Parcel storms levelution was one of my favourites because you can actually use the ships auto cannon after it beaches itself. Not that it’s useful against ground targets but helicopters and aircraft are perfect targets

You know it’s honestly so sad how devs in today’s world just focus so damn much on games for sport and not for things like this. This is what made the old battlefield’s (especially 4) so beautiful. While in crazy combat with huge teams and aircraft and tanks and explosions you just hear the loud Levolution events happening like hearing that skyscraper just make a crack at first and then you hear the beams groaning as it gets close to falling and then while falling just groans and echoes through the city it’s just terrifying to have that happen while people are all fighting to capture points. And in battlefield 1 I had a crazy moment where I was on top of the blimp while in conquest and the whole thing started exploding and falling out of the sky as I ran to the front and jumped off and it blew up mid air behind me and crashed down, it was like an action movie. And the fact that the blimp could land anywhere and becoming a solid piece of the map and not just a visual you can phase through. Like the old battlefield games were just the best out there. Made the shooter experience feel so real like you were really in war. Nowadays games are all played for competition and sport and the devs could give a fuck about graphics and special things like these levolution events. So sad..

imagine this in a modern game. You’re atop a building and see a bombing run go by and think to yourself: “Ehhh, it missed me, not my problem.” and then your camera starts tilting and the realization for you sinks in, it wasn’t aiming for people, it was aiming for the supports. Right after it collapses, you see that the fallen debris caused a blockage in the main path and now you have to go all the way around it to get to the primary combat area

Some of these reminds me of some of MotorStorm Apocalypse's track events. Hell, that game does have some races taking place in an active warzone between a PMC and the city's local gangs and you get to witness that carnage as you race on by. Mind you, that game is crude by comparison to what this game is doing but still.

I cant get BF3 out of my mind.. it was big nice maps, some destruction.. . we really miss lot of these games now... we changed it for fast matches like CS GO... but losing diamond in the process for almost nothing... I think root couse are skins and other trash in games... we dont focuse on game now much . . but we got open word maps and games so you cant break one building but you can create story.. For example DayZ... its future of gaming.. No one care about COD stories if you play few hours and you done... DayZ or Rust for example you can play over 3k, 7k, some over 10k hours and you still get something new.. So some games are worn fast some last over decade... Who knows what else... i hope GTA6 will be good game.. i really wish for it..
