For new players: Play the Objective! Battlefield is not interested in your K:D ratio. Don't clog up your team with snipers; two or three are OK but snipers won't win the game, you need aggressive, forward pushing players. Try and balance the classes, so your team has a good dispersion of different abilities (reviving, dropping health/ammo packs, taking out vehicles etc). Don't camp vehicles. Spot enemies for your team.

Something to note about video settings, while it is technically true that higher settings could increase input lag, as long as you are realistic about the capabilities of your GPU it's entirely unnoticeable to the average player. Higher resolution textures make it easier to distinguish detail at a distance, and that's a bigger advantage than a frame or two of input lag.

Probably not that important but I thought I'll leave an abridged explanation for why sidezz did the 'Screen adjust' thing. Because our vision/perception of an object is more clearer when it falls in the center (foveal visual field) of our eyes and more blurry when it is to the side (Periphery visual field), shrinking the screen size so that the map and other HUD elements are more closer to the center of our eyes means that we will be able to detect the little pings, blips and signals from the minimap, ammo count etc. This pretty much gives players a legal-legitimate cheat that they can use when playing the game, allowing players to react faster to incoming threats. So yea, well-done sidezz for touching on this because a lot of new players have no idea how useful this could be. I wish I knew this when I started BF3 😂 great video mate!!

My best tip for Recon sniping is to relax and take shots you know are 100% going to hit. A lot of players think they're doing it right, but end up just spamming bullets and end up wasting time / revealing their position. Like they say, patience is key. Sometimes, it's better to simply ignore moving enemies and search for more stationary targets. Obviously, it'll start out rough, but as you do it more often you'll speed up, and eventually you'll be unstoppable (Note: Suppression exists in BF4 so it is a LOT harder than all the other BFs where you can pop heads non-stop).

I’m having a hard time trying to add a second player so when I turn off both controllers and go to multiplayers we can only play on one screen and use on controller and if I get shot the other person get to play their turn with the other controller!

I mainly play bf1, bfv and abit of 2042 here and there. I bought bf4 yesterday in the sale as I really wanted to see what all the love for bf4 was about. Whilst I'm loving the more infranty based maps, I am struggling with vehicles in a lot of the bigger conquest maps. If I don't play engineer, I feel completely helpless against the hoards of vehicles and I have to be honest, it feels more frustrating than the vehicle situation in 2042. I'm wondering if I have to change my play style or I'm doing something wrong because often I'll just have a round of dying constantly to vehicles. Anyone have any tips?

using burst fire in battlefield is all about the rhythm of clicking, not actually clicking as fast as possible, I think the AN94 is 1100 RPM in burst fire mode and absolutely shreks when you can maintain that rof

Great guide, only issue is whenever i join a server a few minutes later i get kicked by Punkbuster, im not sure if its because im not following server rules or something or its not running properly. It gets really irritating not being able to get more than 2 or 3 kills
