Battlefield 4 In-Game Chat Reactions 17

These are some of the moments while playing when I happen to record what triggered someone to make hackusations, rage or say something funny in chat.
If anyone has suggestions for the title of a series of videos that consists mostly of the bolt-action sniper rifles in BF1 let me know. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with a lot of that kind of stuff and it appears to be the only thing people are interested in watching on YT.

Shims Yeah... it means they're more dependent on their surroundings. Just because they have limited HUD doesn't mean they just shoot randomly. People are just more likely to use cover and stealth. Play on a hardcore server and you'll see what I mean.

I have played on Hardcore mode servers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4LJm4OeppqKb8U People may use cover and stealth however there is less of a need for them to do so in Hardcore mode. They are more likely to sit in a corner crouched or prone and waiting for players instead of moving about the map. Normal is more difficult not just because of the damage model where you have to actually be accurate with your shots but because there are so many skill-gap removers like 3D spotting and audio spotting. Because of those you can't move around the map as easily or with as much freedom as you get from Hardcore servers. So yes I did play in Hardcore servers and yes I did get banned. No I did not experience or see what you mean when I played Hardcore.

***** I would argue that due to the fact that the combination of low HP and snipers and machine gunners are prevalent in hardcore, the use of cover, stealth, and flanking tactics become significantly more efficient and valuable. This may not be the case for you and your god-like aim, but the other 99% of us prefer to utilize cover and such to minimize our chances of dying. 3D spotting and on-screen minimap removes any need to be physically aware of your surroundings, because every time you hear a gunshot you look at your minimap instead of actually using your instincts to determine where it came from. That being said, sniper rifles take absolutely no skill to use in hardcore and impact grenades are insta-kills in a three foot radius, which is ridiculous. Fortunately, most people aren't scrubs and are content with using skill-based weapons. Yes, hardcore mode is easier in the sense that it takes less bullets to kill your target, but it also provides a bit more realism for those who enjoy the Battlefield experience but don't enjoy what they perceive as casual elements like auto-regen and high HP, minimap and 3D spotting, crosshair, etc. Some, like me, take it a step further and completely disable the HUD except for their teammates' health bars.

I guess I explained that poorly. Getting from point A to point B is easier on Hardcore because there is no 3D spotting, mini-map and audio spotting. Getting from point A to point B in normal mode is more difficult because of those things however it takes more skill because you must be aware of those features and know how to get around them. Hardcore players never have to think it through and they don't have to be accurate. Realism? Please be realistic about that reason. If you wanted realism you wouldn't be playing a franchise that has always been known as an arcade shooter. Arma and many other games are more suited for your realism needs.

My suggestion for your Bf1 series is "Bolt-Action Satisfaction". Don't know about you, but getting rifle kills in bf1 gives me a lot of satisfaction than in bf4. Don't know if you feel any more satisfied getting bolt action kills in bf1 than in bf4 but a suggestion is a suggestion. Haven't seen any others in the comments yet.

Sometimes I forget just how ridiculous the 870 MCS was in Battlefield 4, despite the fact it's pretty much one of the only shotguns I ever used. But when I do remember, it's a great reminder that the Model 10-A isn't _that_ bad by comparison in BF1.

Philip McIntosh There are a lot of regressions in BF1. The real velocities and drag were a step in the right direction, alongside melee improvements and ergonomics. The game lacks in content, customization, ridiculous balancing issues... that kinda stuff. They didn't give us gear painting like they did in Hardline, we didn't get camos or uniform changes (maybe I wanted my American to look like a white Marine in all classes). Also, mustard and incendiary spam is an issue.
