"Constantly upgrading and maintaining" is a bit of an overstatement I think. My current PC I've had for about 14 months and have only had to clean it twice, and have never had to replace a single piece of hardware within it. It can play any game, and I find that only with a few exceptional games do I have to turn down the settings slightly to get a smooth 60fps. You're absolutely right about the price though. My god PC gaming can be expensive if you want a better than console experience.

It's completely different from BF3, this time around even the servers are crashing randomly. In BF3 only users game clients were randomly crashing.

@Jack Burgess the Xbox one costs £430 and I built a mid level gaming PC for just £350 and in 3 years time I can just upgrade it instead of spending another £500 on a new xbox

You are right they can play against. But not play on the same team. If people actually want to play to win and I am sure a lot do, having people that you can't communicate with destroys the core game play. Team work. Also I am sure people don't want to have huge latency issues as well.

A PS4 costs the same as my graphics card alone (when I bought it). I agree that in the long run the money you save on games as well as not having to pay for a subscription to play online makes the PC well worth it. Problem is, as the person I replied to before was saying, the initial cost of PC gaming is off putting for most people, which is why consoles are so popular. And yes, PC's are great for everything, which is why when I'm not sleeping or working, I'm probably on the PC :)

You raise some valid points, but that's no reason to go bashing on someone's preference toward a specific console or PC. PC gamers do enjoy a more efficient and versatile platform yes, but not without 1. Paying a significant amount of money 2. Constantly upgrading and maintaining their rig to ensure good performance. Consoles suffer from not being as powerful or versatile, but they are much more accessible to the general public which is why they are typically more popular in most households.

1. I think PC's get upgraded more because the users want to, but also because the developer is not restricted to set specifications. In PC terms the PC advances because of the games whereas consoles are vice versa. 2. In the long run I think that PC gaming is cheaper because of steam sales and the price of new releases. (Amazon BF4 = £34 for PC and £47 for current gen consoles) I can see why people choose console gaming over PC gaming though just because of ease of use and accessibility.

As a warning for ammo, don't always reload your gun. You can waste ammo that was in the clip your reloading from.

Honestly battlefield really isn't any fun at all when you play by yourself, but if you play with a group of friends it is so much fun to dick around. C4 covered trucks for days.

1. You can build a good PC for as much as a console. 2. You don't have to upgrade very often. Most people only upgrade because it's fun. Consoles are feature limited PCs running on outdated parts that you overpay for and barely work as intended. Just like any other game series, if you make a game called Killon and you make a sequel, the game is still gone gonna be the same the one before just with new map/maps, new story line and stuff, if BF4 wasnt like the 3, it couldnt be called Battlefield because it isnt a battlefield game then.

With the price of next gen consoles being so high, Buying a decent pc is not that expensive, Games are nearly half the price of consoles, a good pc will only set you back 200 - 300 quid more then consoles and its a all-in-1 machine !

Not necessarily, you can buy a gaming rig that can run most modern games well for around $700-$800 it's really over-estimated. yes PC gamers do have to upgrade but not as rapidly as your post may suggest. I own a console as well as my work PC so I don't really mind I'm happy for people to do whatever makes it easier, however I hate the fact that this "console war" restricts titles under the guise of "exclusive" let all gamers play! no exceptions!

They *change* the games for different consoles, making the game run just the way it will on on a newer console. Most likely the Xbox one will have the same framerate as the 360, but the One will have better graphics. the same with PS3 and 4. Please correct me if im wrong :)

1. A PC for 500$ is easily able to play modern games. 2. You never have to upgrade unless you want even more performance where consoles are stuck with out of date hardware from the start and never able to upgrade.

Forced was a bad choice of words, maybe they wanted to play this anyway, but it seems more like an advertisement than their usual fucking around. Jesse Cox also did a video specifically on Levolution and I have a feeling Polaris pushed that like they did with that phone game they featured recently.
