Remember when we used to shit on BFV? Then BF2042 happened lol. But honestly apart from the questionable "historical" choices, it was a solid game. I had to leave it because it was full of cheaters at one point but I might try to reinstall it.

Fuck no to BR. They have to stop chasing trends (Battle Royale trend -> Firestorm, Extraction Shooter trend -> whatever that poor attempt was they added to 2042) and make a fucking actual Battlefield game again. V came closest to classic BF (pre-Frostbite era) only to be drowned in EA's shit.

The devs whom worked on BF1 / V was some of the og devs who made up and upgraded the frostbite engine and when BF 2042 went into production they'd already left the studio so the ones in charges where not as experienced as the vets and covid happened . Therefore the shit show and complete bs we had in 2042 . But the graphics texture movement and sound design in BF V are superb and second to none in an FPS fr .
