I can understand some of their frusrtation with "plane carry". A good pilot in most BF games and H&G can singlehandedly dominate a team. But there's no need to be rude about it.

Often times, the ones complaining are often the ones who treat every game as CoD TDM, and don’t bother learning the nuances or experiment with what the game can do.

Every game mode is just TDM Meatgrinder with objectives. There's no nuance to it. Otherwise people would be playing in a manner more akin to Arma. Using tactics and some bold strategies... Modern AAA FPS games are just "smash your head against a wall" and call it "fun". Conquest is TDM with a map wide series of between 3 and 7 objectives to control. Rush is TDM with 2 objectives per sector to capture and destroy. Operations is TDM with 2 objectives to capture to push forward the gameplay. Domination is just TDM with 3 objectives on a map. Kill Confirmed is TDM with dog tag collection as the objective. Search and Destroy is TDM with 2 objectives and you have to destroy one of them, and all members have one life each round. If you think about it, everything is TDM when most of your XP is garnered from your K/D, not objective incentive. If that were not the case, we'd see Dave running objectives more than running tanks, planes and automobiles. Especially when it seems, from the perspective of others, that the only thing they're doing is dying... Kind of gets annoying if you're playing objectives and get punished for it.

One time my plane was on fire while in a dog fight and I acted like I was crashing so I dived down. He shot at me a few times but he missed and pulled back. Once he pulled back I pulled up my plane before it hit the water and shot him down.

I wish fixed AAA would actually do something. Played a few weeks ago on Conquest and it seemed that I was just hitting planes with spit balls. When you understand how flak works, how thin-skinned aircraft really are, and just how little it can take with near direct hits or with explosive shrapnel, it gets under your skin when you are trying to perform Anti-Air duties (because you haven't unlocked the fliegerfaust yet), and it seems the rendered AAA is about as useful as wet toilet paper. If that's what they call "balanced". I'd hate to see when everything is imbalanced and under-powered/over-powered. Oh wait... *Looks at BF2042*

Dude, it blows me away how bitter people are with JUST a video game. Especially mad at the physics engine or damage that certain vehicles do. Don’t get mad at me, these are viable tactics from real life and allowed in game. People getting mad that I keep smoking them with my Archer from way downtown. Umm, that’s the point fool. You don’t rush the front with a mobile artillery gun! 😂 Spot, and shoot, spot, and shoot, flares, shoot, spot and shoot, and so on and so forth. Lol

I personally hate plane carry in all BF games. It's not like you can't easily do something about the enemy plane hitting you constantly but the issue is that pilot "returns" after being shot down, and will force you to do AA tasks all the time since the rest of your team don't seem to do anything about it. I honestly don't give much credit to a pilot being able to do a full game without being taken down. For me it's more the frustration of a passive friendly team, forcing you to only do one thing in the entire round - shooting down planes. Ironically, pilots who get shot down all the time rage quits in the end instead of just playing a different role. In BF games, saltiness is not really coming from a frustration good enemies but rather passive team members.

I love how in most of the Battlefield games you have different levels of combat all happing at once pvp, tank v tank, plane v plane, artillery etc. And how awesome it can be to see planes flying over head raining down bullets and bombs. or tanks leading the charge with people close behind, and at the same time you have combat that crosses over plane v tank, p v tank, etc. Id have to say most war focus shooters lack this wide range of combat and that Battlefield does it really well. sadly with the massive disappointment of 2042 and alot of the veteran devs leaving the team its likely that the Battlefield franchise will die out. We can only hope they make a comeback or for a reboot down the road

I think people curse out certain players and call them hackers because they don't like the idea that they aren't better than you. Assaults can definitely attack ground-strike aircraft with a Fliegerfaust, just as planes can attack AA Assaults with their cannons, they are just not good enough to do it.

I have done what was necessary, which was I was playing on wake island, in a zero with a bomb, and whenever a plane would, spawn, I would try to bomb it, not the smartest idea, but it was for a challenge for steve or something else, I dunno, then I finally got one of them, and I saw in the chat the guy said wtf

Everybody hates a good pilot, especially when all they do is hog a plane the whole match and never let any newbs get a go so they too can become good in a plane. Don't point out the firing range mode to get good because it's not the same as I battle training.
