@@crazynckid People like you are the reason game developers are laughing in their offices swimming in our money after releasing a broken game at launch. DICE is notorious for releasing Battlefield titles that are nearly unplayable at launch, and that's why I stopped playing after BF3. They gave themselves an extra month to fix the BFV issues and yet glitches like vehicles disappearing as you are driving them are still present. Not to mention the fact that they gave themselves an extra month, released the game, then changed the TTK up without any heads up to the community. They released their beta, presented a product that the community seemed to like, let us buy it (I did not), and then completely changed the game within the first month. DICE/EA is just a bunch of money grubbing twats and that's why I stopped buying their titles. Not going to waste $60 on something that is shit at release or gets patched and turned to shit down the road.

This part right here 1:03 happened to me one round, and I think it's because if you take a vehicle that spawned in a objective, and it gets taken away, the vehicle disappears back over as their vehicle. Just a theory, since in my experience the objective I got mine from was taken at that second.

It's a bug that was in BF1. That vehicle we were in was from C flag and you can see right before it de-spawned they capture C back from us which caused the game to spawn a new vehicle on C flag. Apparently because it has to do that it can't allow the vehicle that had already spawned there to exist.

If you watch closely his health jumps to 70-something and back down to 50ish.. my guess would be that he was healing right before he got shot, thereby causing his health to increase and then decrease again

Hey ravic, quick question. What do you use to edit/render your videos? I've been doing some test renders with premiere pro and the quality is really good before I upload it to youtube, afterwards the compression is horrible. How do you get your 1080p to look so nice without up-scaling your videos for better bitrate on them?

If you compare it to early BF4 videos or any videos recorded prior on my channel you'll notice that even mine look worse. Short version, it comes down to the raw source recording or what you record with. ShadowPlay and quite a few other recording applications rely solely on H.264 and it isn't a lossless or intra-frame codec so one bad keyframe when recording leads to multiple frames that can't fixed or made better with re-encoding. So that is why it doesn't really matter how high you set the bitrate because when YT re-encodes it during upload they are going to limit that bitrate so you can't hide those bad keyframes. Yes the higher resolutions allow for higher bitrate but I came across a artifact bug when upscaling a H.264 recorded file to 1440p that I don't know how to fix so until I come across a better alternative for recording with I'm stuck like you with lesser quality than I'd like on YT. If you don't record like me which is mainly through a pre-record buffer and you instead just hit record at the beginning and then stop after each round then you can use DxTory or Bandicam and record with a better codec like MagicYUV or UT Video. Not only will your end result on YT look better on YT, you're upscaling won't have artifacts and editing will be much faster and easier because of intra-frame ( it makes Premiere and After Effects ez mode ).

Ravic thanks for the tips man! Been a viewer since bfbc2-bf3 days, really appreciate the help. I also found a few things about how KZbin does some stuff that i don’t know if you know about. My problem was primarily that since I don’t upload anything and have no viewer base my video is encoded with avc, one of 2 codecs used by KZbin (the shitty one). When uploading in 1440p or higher or simply having a decent following KZbin prioritizes your videos and encodes then with vp09. The difference between the 2 is really large and you can check by right-clicking and going to stats for nerds. Anyway, again thanks for the help/advise. Hope to see you in game and uploading more frequently with bf5 :)

@@Ravic Hmm, after doing a few things I noticed an increase in quality by a noticable amount but its still nowhere near as clear as yours. I use shadowplay and use the pre-record/clipping with it, not sure if you use that or something like an elgato. After playing around with it I was wondering if you do anything specifically that you've noticed helps video quality? I've been rendering with H.264, with a level of 5.1 with VBR 2-pass at 32 Mbps, and I didn't add in any fx to it. The clip I was testing with was on the mountain snow map but even when comparing it to the clip you have on that map it pales in comparison to the clairty. Just trying to figure out how to get that good of quality, even if it isn't as good as it used to be for you. I could link it if you'd be interested to see what I mean. Sorry if I'm asking a lot, just curious as to how people do it.

I never played bf1 at launch, are all their games glitchy? Like the assignments and guns glitch out when you unlock them, climbing things are clunky, laying down pushes you, so many spots that i get stuck in. I could keep going but i didn't know this was an early access alpha. I'm already getting tired of their 8 maps. They spent two years to make 8 maps? some of them arent even very good.

It would look really shitty on YT and Twitch without some form of lossless recording. Not sure what you're specifically asking about. Yes they could make another Vietnam game, they made a WW2 game in the past and have now circled back to it like it was a good idea....So yes we could circle back to Vietnam. Will it be like either of the two previous Vietnam games DICE produced? Nope. So if they were I'd rather they do some alternate timeline stuff with it, have a little fun and get creative with history because like there is now people are too hung up on the old WW2 games and WW2 history. But the might be more open to some alternate timeline steampunk Vietnam war or some other combination. The era decides what vehicles and weapons you are limited to so focusing on real history, real battles after we've already done that with so many previous FPS war games really limits the creativity in designing the game. If BC1 is any kind proof it's that made up wars or fights can be fun, funny and feel new or refreshing.

Than in 2016 BF1 is "casualfield" and now the dogs bollocks. wizzzer1337 I’m pretty sure that in battlefield 1 people would turn a blind eye to historical inaccuracy as it was mostly real prototype weapons from the time period, where as in battlefield V most of the inaccuracies are in the single player component the war stories to point out the practically revision of history in the Norwegian war story there is 0 mention of the 10 Norwegian commandoes who did operation gunnerside without a single one of them getting injured or killed and the only thing historically accurate in the whole war story is the execution of British Commandoes in the intro which German troops were under order to do so, and I’m fairly certain it is common knowledge in Norway so it seems to me that at least a bit of the backlash about historical inaccuracy is from Norwegians who are understandably angry that 10 Norwegians were written out of a event that’s very important to them and replaced with some sod and her mother. This fan base just can’t remain consistent with complaints can we?

BF1 was not totally historically accurate, but it still followed the roots of WW1. Sure, most of the weapons featured were prototypes or had limited production, but they had to be put in the game, to stay close to the Battlefield spirit - dynamic and entertaining arcade battles -. The problem with BFV is how it was presented and how DICE and EA responded to the backlash. Because I never heard the story of a disabled Mary Sue with a steampunk arm and Braveheart style warpaints fighting in WW2. If they want to put women in the game, then be my guest, but they at least should make some research before that. Like, I dunno, a female russian sniper, a member of the Night Witches Squadron, a WASP or a French Resistance fighter. They called the fanbase "uneducated" and "disrespectful" but with that Mary Sue and how they responded to the backlash, they are the "uneducated" and disrespectful" ones.

Sorry I just don't see showing bad rounds or rounds where we are on bad teams as a good idea. We experience it just the same as anyone else and in BFV it hurts a little more because your team will lose but you'll get top squad with a large gap between your squad score and the second place squad score. I do have some of those saved so I could possible try to poke fun by including them.
