Really struggling at the minute on bf5. I feel like the toned down spotting has made it a lot more difficult. Also feel like opponent visibility is a bit bad at times. Might just be me but it is a lot harder of a game to recent ones.

Overall I think it's a great game but I do have a few issues. Personal opinions obviously. Toned down spotting Map sizes for conquest are far too big. Opponent visibility. Time to kill can also be frustrating at times aswell.

Time to death and player visibility are the only two reasons why I’ve bee struggling. In battlefield I usually hold a high 2 kd, like 2.5-2.8 . Now I’m holding a 2.1 kd. Players visibility is definitely why I die a lot.

As a fellow medic, one thing that I wish I've known when I was playing during the early access is that you can pick up other players' weapon and use that instead of your own. You'll still be a medic, but with a better weapon.

Good tip for you all. I play mostly conquest and found my first few games extremely difficult. What I did was play team death match. Less players,smaller maps. I found that this gave me a Better feel for the game. It’s easier to build your k/d. The games last longer than they did in tdm on bf1 so you rank up fairly quick to. It’s a good way to start the game to get used to it. Now I’m playing conquest and I’m a lot better now. I’m also enjoying the game a lot more as I have unlocked quite a few of the better weapons by just playing tdm. I hope this helps with the players who aren’t having much luck or fun with the game. Have patience and give it more time and you will probably enjoy it a lot more 👍

Basically i get average 20-30 kills in conquest, not the best but for some tips, Look at your comrades screen before spawning, always look for new objectives to go after and never actively follow the big battles becuase you just end up getting 1 dying 1. Also just have fun, when bored of guns i switch on to the flak and have fun wrkecing planes. Takes the edge off.

LOTS and LOTS of camping going on in this game. Some matches I dominate, others not so much. Plus the Medics rarely heal unless they are true 'friends.' Wish I had a high end PC bc the game doesn't look as good on PS4 Pro. Still very addictive. Like seriously addictive. Good vid.

How to do that when the squad separates most of the time? One in a tank on the other side of the map, another sniping at the boundary of the map, and the final squad member that doesnt appear on the map, even if he's alive. Try being a Medic on such team, you'll pull your hair out.

Thank you, great video! I used to play BF1 on PS4, assault, no hellriegel, no aim assist, very aggressive play style, Rambo like, I was good at it, always in the Top 5, almost always positive K/D. Here on BF5, I'm now mostly in the bottom and a K/D of 0.5 is a good round for me. It's very frustrating and it's just spawn die, spawn die for me. Guess I will have to change the way I play!

Agree to an extent - BF1 allowed for more variety in playstyles IMO which meant more depth needed in positioning to move around the map = more skill. In BF5 it's very easy to play defensively and do well without much thought about positioning.

The feel of BFV is way better than some of their past installments. I have played everything from BF 1942 on except for BF 4. This feels great. Being caught out of position is a bad thing, as it should be. Moving more carefully beats a players running around like a headless chicken, unless said headless chicken has some insane reflexes and accuracy. I feel like they moved back to battlefield and away from trying to be COD, and also took care of nagging issues like bullet sponginess and grenade spam. The movement and gunplay feels pretty perfect, with nice touches like falling backwards behind cover into a nice defensive firing angle and the transitions as you move around on the ground are great (you don't spin your whole body, legs and all, much more realistic now). The decreased time to kill is great except for some edge cases they will no doubt fix, the visibility is spot on and very immersive with no artificial means of making players more visible against the terrain, the changes to spotting are awesome (no icon following an enemy because you hit a "spot" button, but can call out areas of interest), the fortification system is amazing and lends itself to prolonged engagements and actually defending objectives rather than running like a pack of brainless lemmings from point to undefended point... So many great changes and tweaks and additions. It's so good. I was really on the fence about it after all the bad press and bs, but it really is very, very good! I haven't enjoyed a battlefield game this much since probably Battlefield 2 and 2142.

There are only 3 rules you really have to follow. 1. Count your ammo nothing is worse than getting gunned down while reloading half a magazine 2. Keep an ear out on your surroundings The audio is surprisingly precise on footsteps and shots with Stereo Headphones. 3. Never go alone No matter how good you are on your own, the rule is quantity always wins against quality.

I’m new but the biggest problem I’ve found is that no one really defends a flag once it’s captured, then 1 or 2 guys move in quietly and take it, mass enemy spawn and flank the hell out of us. I started holding locations for about 60-90 seconds after it was secured to see if I could prevent this and it’s made a huge difference for at least holding the position til more reinforcements can make it and mainly preventing us getting completely pinned when we are down to 1-2 posts. I used your PS4 Settings and tweaked most of the settings to my preference and i'm getting better still not 50% comfortable with this game. As one of the younger players, and I mean just leaving middle school and becoming a freshmen, Adults are far better at target prioritization and taking far better responsibility of watching their surroundings than I, I usually stick with my friends(most mic equipped) and squads mates while playing. But I can say that spotting makes it very easy on battlefield 1, but since 3d spotting is a thing of the past now, I recommend being a recon with the sniper role or support with the mG role, they can easily spot enemies while the vehicle buster could spot most vehicles, these roles also help in defending and holding objectives or even preparing the next planned assault(and yes planning attacks and thinking ahead is a good thing to do especially when playing with friends). Once I started understanding the different combat roles and what they were type of combat they were good for like attacking and defending, I got better instantly. PS I personally believe the medic roles are more so multi-purpose.

This game is worse than last one. As medic 30% of my deaths are caused by getting caught on objects and glitching, and the ineffectiveness of the square button. Half the time it doesn’t revive when it clearly says press square to revive. I’ve also found that weapons in the medic class purposely were nerfed. I didn’t have any of these problems in BF1. My question is how does a game get worse? They literally took every weapon and made it to where it’s only viable in one situation. Why do they have to fix things which aren’t broken? I feel like I’m playing an animation game. They took all the precision out of the game. Countless times I’m killed when in cover but my guy auto stands up or auto climbs down the rock. The movement is clumsy. It wasn’t in BF1. One more thing I want to mention, has anyone noticed you can now get shot through walls and metal after you’ve already passed the corner? Happens all the time the game clearly has an algorithm which grants attackers an extra bullet or so when enemies are retreating. Grenades are useless which 15 second timers. It’s ridiculous the timing in those things. Rolling turrets need 4 bullets to kill someone. Half the field guns are hidden to the point where nobody uses them. Bandages hardly work and the supply crates and medic crates are beyond useless. How are assault rifles more accurate than sub machine guns? Dice thinks all smgs should be hip fired. Now we have traits. Wow, I’m playing the game now but damn I’m disappointed. I can’t think of everything wrong with this game. They ruined it THEY TURNED THE GAME INTO COD quality which is shit, but here the meta is lay down with a LMG. GUYS WE HAD A GREAT GAME WHERE PLAYERS USED MANY WEAPONS AND CREATED SITUATIONS. Also did they take away the option for look sensitivity? We have traits, I knew this would happen, BF1 had some shit like that. Ridiculous man, they took the greatest war series and fucked it up. How did this happen? The last two BF were worse. I need a new option, BF no longer has it for me.

I was definitely against the sweet spots in bf1, but damn bro, 50 health damage from any distance? That sucks! They should at least make chest shots 70-80. One time I had to shoot an enemy player THREE times to get a kill, with the most “powerful” sniper in the game, they need to buff up the snipers a bit.

This game is too fast paced for a battlefield game. Not much strategy going on. I think bf1 was better because it allowed for flexible playstyles, and required skills (positioning). This game is way too simple...

I feel like pace is much more of a team dependent thing. I’ve had shitty games where the teams are just killing blindly with no team play and then I’ve had great games where each team is trying to flank and medics are all on point etc.

You seem not to understand. Fast paced is that you're always rushing for everything. Always running to get kills with little to no moments to think about your possibilities or perhaps changing your playstyle. The only options you got is keep running until someone gets ya, and hope you shoot faster. There are enemies in every single corner. It's pretty much Call of Duty with vehicles, and a larger map. No space to strategize (spelling). It's not a Battlefield game. You seem like those asshole teammates that have a score of 40-5 and end up losing the game because muh kills-muh skills.
