Youve got these things called muscles you use to tilt your head to the gun or in this case launcher to aim down the sights, same here with the Panzerfaust. You have the panzerfaust either in your arm pit or on your shoulder with your hand above the release as your hold so the thing doesnt just knock you over when you fire it. Then you aim in your sights and press the release.

PS has a genuinely good thing apart from the reload animations and details, it's the iron sights themselves. Most games prefer to use night time apertures for obvious reasons (using the real ones might cause a ton of players to immediately switch from iron sights to optical ones), in PS however, most of the weapons have accurate aperture sizes. It's a subtle addition which is actually needed in today's games.

What I love about the PS reloads, regardless whether it's intended or not, is that the characters hand is sometimes shaking during a reload. I’ve always liked how more realistic games like PS have more sharp sound effects than most triple A games. Many big franchises have sounds that should soft. I also like how the gun moves somewhat independently of the screen when firing, this is much more similar to recoil irl. In big games the entire screen will move with the gun, but here in PS we can see guns basically firing off screen when going full auto for too long. This goes to show the difference between the more realistic, tactical genre and the more arcade like ones. In games like PS the bullets come front be gun, but in bigger games like BF the bullets come from the eyes.

@lost_legion_army90024 жыл бұрын
@@felonytaxevasion2773 the bolt sits a good inch and a half in the notch, the gun would need to be vertically up in order to slap it out of position and even then its pointless since its open bolt so it wouldn't travel far.

After looking at pictures of the notch, it might be possible to hk slap it, if you came at the charging handle at an angle. But I haven’t seen anybody do that, so it would probably make more sense to have them not slap the charging handle
@LocalDeepstateAgent4 жыл бұрын
Well first of all, that isnt really a HK slap thats more a kung fu slice on the "release" and yes, it is perfectly fine since the MP40 has no real safety just a locking mechanism which you could slap out of locking with enough force. I think people like Post Scriptums gun sounds more is because "An Triple A company is worse then a small company" which is true *most* of the time. But the sound design for BF5 is nicer then Post Scriptums gun sounds. But ill give Post Scriptums sound design some props though 🤘

Post scriptum and squad are both run by the same devs and they both have pretty much the same servers and they admin abuse so much if they don’t ban people they get their server removed by the game developers the games would be fun but mostly everybody quit and now it’s just a bunch of weird old men in their clans controlling the games pop pretty much making the game fun for themselfs with the help of the admins and banning everybody that swears and everybody that is good at the game I typed retard on these servers in chat a admin used vocal chat to talk to me telling me your not allowed to language and banned me for 3 days I’ve also been perm banned on other servers for similar things I would really like to just play these games but the community is so damaged and squad has a community ban list so if you get banned from 3 severs which the admins could ban you from their server with no proof making it so you can only play certain servers which have extremely long ques to get in because there is so many people on the ban list so everybody switched to hell let loose

@@1Orderchaos Open bolt means when the weapon is ready to fire, there is no bullet in the chamber, when firing the bolt slams forwards and brings up a cartridge to the chamber, bolt locks, firing pin protrudes and fires the round, then extracts and ejects the spent shell case, finally the bolt locks back to the ready position due to either the gas pressure or recoil. That's basically how it works. If you know this already then just ignore me lol.

I don't get the concept of locking a bolt back. I get in some guns like the MP5 it's a requirement to lock it back. But the MP50? Why would you lock back the bolt on a open bolt gun? It just seems like a waste of time to me.

A. It's a simple and very effective safety. B. If something malfunctions (specifically in the trigger group), the bolt may slam forward, pick up a cartridge, and fire it somewhere you don't want a bullet to go. It's the same reason they swapped from a hook style charging handle like the one on the MP-38. If that hook charging handle gets caught on say, the side of a half track, pulled back enough to clear the magazine, but not enough to engage the sear, you're gonna have a bad day.

@Max Canadian I mean, I never see the bolt getting brought forward after getting locked back, which is what I know for sure you'd have to do with an mp5. I understand the reload when the mag isn't empty, but even when it was, it didn't look like the bolt was locked back. Correct me if I am wrong
@Gameprojordan4 жыл бұрын
@@PS-mw9cc you technically can reload an mp40 by pulling the bolt back and locking it in place on the catch first but him slapping it open doesnt make sense as the mp40 bolt needs to be unhooked from the catch before releasing so slapping it would be impossible. the bolt catch isnt just a flat notch it kind of hooks around
