Let me tell you kids of BF2 and 2142 , the cmdr was a spawnable character who had the cmdr assets at his uncap , your job as a spec-op was to sneak into the uncap , kill him and blow up the assets with C4 / RDX . Mechanics could repair them. Man I miss that

Squad leads in five could call in things like V2 rockets that god no kills. Alternatively they could also call in sector artillery and clear out a point, which as a support main was _so fun_ to watch fortifications that someone spent time on to up in smoke at the click of a button. Bf1s turning tides airships and destroyers had dreadnaught spotting that dropped dreadnaught strikes wherever you pointed at which no one used for some reason despite the fact it was super easy to go 60:0 if people pushed the right points.

Also, a few weeks back I couldn't get in their BF4 game during a stream, well, not as a soldier, but I was able to play as general, but not on their team 😢 and I was only listening to the stream, not looking at where Appsro was at, and I accidentally got him with the cruise missile lmao. He seemed a bit annoyed, and I felt bad, so I just started paying attention to where he was so I wouldn't hit him with the missiles lol.

I remember grinding all the challenges to get the Commander progress maxed out. Of all the hours I spent trying to coordinate the team I *maybe* had two or three squads actually listen to orders, even less who actually used their headsets to communicate. Good mechanic but not always well executed.
