I had a moment in BF4 that was ALMOST as awesome as the colonel in this. A Havoc helicopter was taking off and I was standing on a building above. I jumped on top of the gunner's cockpit, took out my PDW, killed both the pilot and gunner, and then stole the helicopter. All while in midair.

theres non-lockon weapons that can also help with that. but its very hard to get something like a lock-on rocket launcher in proper balance. because it should still be useful while also being very forgiving but also not too strong to make it the standard go-to. personally aint a fan of lock-on stuff, while I can see the reason why its in the game.

Just so everyone is clear, "below radar" only works for aircraft to aircraft. Not the individual solder with a stinger. It's meant to give you a fighting chance if you can't shake someone's aircraft from locking on you or are waiting for your countermeasures to reload. Stay low, and the pilots flying skills come more into play. Not just an easy lock on. As for ground solders, they can lock on at any altitude. Line of sight comes more into play then.

Don’t worry everyone, they patched this a while ago, now it is once again impossible to bring down a chopper, the pilot just swaps seats for a second and then the rocket losses it’s lock, every game is once again decided by which team has the dedicated chopper squad again. (On a side note, who the hell thought that was a good idea)
