It works well in Fortnite. And it is satisfying to see the loot pop out after a kill. But in Fortnite you can just walk over the ammo to pick it up, so that is different I guess.

I believe the revive is like it is so you can see if someone is coming up on you. With the base game squad revive animation it's basically 5 seconds of butt clenching cos neither you or the downed player can see any approaching threats

If the skill gap is high ..then do not change the ttk in a different game mode just because the environment or NAME changes ..I think players should be rewarded the same For lining up that Headshot.
