lol.... no not really. War with China truly isn't plausible. China and USA are major trade partners. I don't understand how people can't see that if China and USA went to war, it would severely impact the world economy. There are a lot of rich people who could make money off the war, but there are even more rich people who would lose a lot cause of it. Besides, the world is struggling with the actual realism of modern warfare. Proxy wars, civil unrest, religious crusades, and military interventions that spans over so many countries right now. Battlefield really doesn't understand squat about war and this fictional war is highly unrealistic and meant for entertainment. The comparison, I would almost go as far to call ignorant, but is more of a speculation of a medium to reality. An creative imagination to harsh reality.

Dinosaurs have been referenced in almost every bf game since BF3. This is because when BC2 came out DICE went online to various websites asking players what they think should be in the next battlefield. It quickly became a meme to say "add dinosaurs" every since then it's been a running joke and there was even talk at one point about legitimately adding a game mode involving dinosaurs. Might even still happen one day. Imagine a game mode where you and 3 other players have to complete different objectives in a massive map while getting mobbed by all kinds of dinosaurs. Might be cool.

Huge fan of the singleplayer campaign for BF4. Absolutely loved the style and focus on the 4 main characters. Also the way cutscenes would play out without taking away the camera control was so cool! MP was buggy at launch but they fixed that (for the most part) and I still enjoy playing today. Its a real shame dice ditched this entry and moved onto BF1-BFV, I think if theyd kept adding to BF4 we could have something really special going by now....

I really really want to like the campaign and still enjoy playing it but here are the glaring problems. -Recker is a silent protagonist meaning that there’s a bunch of awkward scenes where Irish and Pac act like leaders of the group and no insight is given from Recker Pac is already the middle man and Hannah is often annoying meaning that Recker is served as a useless squad member in the narrative which is a real shame. -The Singapore invasion should’ve had a larger force, and the soldiers should’ve been seen moving in real formations and using real tactics also if they were on the frontlines it would’ve been more powerful to see the US soldiers being shot up and bloody with the squad commenting on this. -It seemed far too easy to escape the prison cell in Kunlun and it could’ve used a time lapse or maybe Rekker’s escape attempt caused him to be thrown in a cell with Dima -Dima’s death was completely cheap especially after BF3 -The mission after the prison was just shite and getting past the Russians was far too easy. To be honest that mission should’ve been purely stealth and should’ve let you use suppressors at least up to the dam. -Falling into the dam flow was also bullshit because it was just a repeat of the badass bridge sequence in Singapore. If anything they should’ve rappelled to escape the dam and Irish’s line could’ve gone slack and therefore he fell, with Recker catching it but Irish getting caught by the flow having to cut the line. Hannah could’ve been like “I’m going for him” jumping after him. Would’ve been even better if Recker was a voiced protagonist in this sequence as he could’ve been the last to jump and contribute to the conversation after wards R: “Devil dog likes to get wet huh?” H: “I had to drag him through-“ I: “Less said about that the better Hannah” R: “Damn lucky to be alive Irish” H: “That why they call you that...Irish?” I: “Heh, I wish” Etc. -Greenland is painfully butch and devoid of any character -As the player, you should’ve been able to take the charge to destroy Chang’s ship yourself AGAIN THIS SCENE WOULD’VE BEEN HELPED BY A VOICED PROTAGONIST. In terms of praise: -The South China Sea mission was very true to life and the sailors locked in the room drowning was powerful stuff, -The music (if a bit overplayed) is completely fitting to the tone and badass or powerful in many parts

(And, I wonder why this guy put up this play through... I think I did better (though I likely died more) on my first play through.) I don't know if DICE does any better with Battlefield V. I wasn't too happy with Battlefield 1 though. Lousy "sampler" campaigns and no chance at all to survive - A magical flame thrower will get you first and a mortar round will find you next time. Then you get an option to complete some missions... but they too are "samplers" and not a full play through.

In bf3 you can feel the war and what is to be a squad member, but in bf4 they put you on a special operations force and as a squad leader that is always mute. For me the campaign was ok but... I dont know, it just feels so unlike battlefield. I missed a big battle like the invasions of Tehran by foot and by tank, in bf4 i always felt i was on a small skirmish as a patrol facing up against 100000 of ambushers

I think the only thing about BF4 that i didnt like was the uniforms for the Marine the multicamo is in accurate to the Marines but other than that BF4 is one of the best games out there

I had this playing on different workspace, and wasn't really watching it that closely. But OMG: do the NPCs keep patting the player on the back for every single kill? I didn't notice at all when i played through the campaign, but listening to this is like if Dice thinks the player is a tiny wee baby.

The only thing I hate about this game’s campaign is it’s AI. Your teammates don’t shoot the enemies unless you point them out. And most of the time the enemies only attack you.

The game could've just put pac or irish at the lead when dunn died. Frankly It was kinda pointless and useless, you never felt you were in charge of anything after all
