Really hope fighters and bombers work more like short range damage buffs than what they are here, they're absolutely disgusting in this game and really make it pretty dull / repetitive. I'd rather bombers are always active around the ship and periodically bomb enemies around, whereas fighters will "deter" them , injuring them and forcing them back
