Such nostalgia. I always loved the loading screen where it progressively zooms in on the planet and then takes you to the battlefield. Made it feel like a war on a grand scale, and you were just part of one of the many battles.

Star Marshal, I think you just redeemed yourself for today with this. Now, to *crush the Gungan lowlives!* 0:18: Ah, "Across the Stars". Say what you will about Anakin and Padme's relationship (and movie depiction), this love theme of theirs is top notch all the way. 0:40: Cue "TIE Fighter Attack". 0:57: The classic story scrolling and the Main Theme. 'Nuff said. 2:27: And so the events of Starfighter, Episode I: Battle for Naboo, and Galactic Battlegrounds has finally come to this... 2:47: "By your command, Lord Sidious." - OOM-9, hero of the Trade Federation campaign on Naboo and Supreme Commander of all their forces here, as shown in Galactic Battlegrounds' TF campaign. 3:00: As the classic intro from the SW KZbin channel Geetsly's says in return: "Attention, sergeant on deck!" 3:14: A shame the classic B1 clankers (sorry for the derogatory term) aren't available for multiplayer and the other Trade Federation missions here, not to forget the sequel Risky, but charging to the battlefield in an Engineer-less Armored Assault Tank should be worthwhile. 3:40: Watch their boomas! 3:10: Ooh, health and repair droids. 4:30: Kill those Fambaas! Their primitive shields must fall! 4:46: Expire, kaadu rider! 7:06: Alas, though this side of the Battle of the Plains was a Separatist triumph, a young Tatooinian former slave by the name of Skywalker won the day above the skies (with some help from at least two Naboo aces and some Naboo-sympathetic pirates when it came to taking down the shields and turret defenses), while two Jedi won their end of a duel against a mysterious Zabrak Sith by the name of Maul (albeit at the cost of one of the Jedi, who was a Master). Impressive work, not dying and even switching here. Will expect more of this bravado in the coming days and weeks.

I wish there was more times in the two battlefront games we could play as the b1 regular assault droid. It was cooler than the b2 in my opinion and a bit more fair that you didn’t have a wrist rocket and shotgun in your starting class.

B1 battle droid have it's own advantage than the B2, you actually carry more grenades, 3 thermal detonator, and 2 concussion grenades, useful for destroying turret and damaging vehicles

Ah Star I hope you make a play through of battlefront II as well! This will truly be one for the ages. The only time I played battlefront 1 was a rental from Hollywood video as a kid. The 2nd one holds a special place in my heart still however.

Fun Fact about Fambas: As babies, Fambas R actually aquatic based with fins, gills, & smooth skin like amphibians, but as they get older there skin starts 2 harden & become scaly, there fins start 2 because flat & more feet like & they start 2 develop lungs & there fills start 2 disappear once there fully mature & start 2 move on 2 land.

@@michaelandreipalon359 It's actually from this book called The Wildlife of Star Wars, that I got around the same time this game launched & it documents all the creatures from the star wars universe in the same style as those dinosaur & prehistoric animals books from the 80's & 90's, it's a good read, give it a shot while U have the time.

I prefer third person for infantry, but in the vehicles I definitely made use of first person mode.

I've just come here to ask, does anyone know exactly what the garrison bonus does in galactic conquest? It says reinforcements but you cant tell. in BF2 you physically get 20 troops when you hit 30 remaining but in BF1 nothing happens that you can see
