I am delighted to see that they used a somewhat realistic defensive stance for Luke when blocking. At least if you're crazy enough to base Lightsaber combat on late-medieval / pre-renaissance Sword-Fencing techniques. (Ochs or Ox, look it up)

Okay, the force push into the ocean was pretty badass. Luke playing as Luke is a *force* to be reckoned with. Jane's got some *sith* moves too. She almost *mauled* her opponent to bits but in the end Luke *rebelled* against her attacks well and used the high ground to his advantage. There's no *darth* of awesomeness here. I'm getting a *tatooine* on my arm to commemorate this glorious battle.

There are actually two "strike me down" lines. In Episode IV: A New Hope, Obi-Wan says to Vader, "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." And in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, the Emperor says to Luke, "Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."

Maul can't block. He is a very aggressively used character. For compensation he has his 3 time unblockable strike (which us hilariously OP when in a corner)

There is a difference between not having them and not knowing you have them though. Also. technically, in Legends they met (shortly before Mauls death) and in canon Maul and Luke at least were on the same planet and not too far from each other by the time Maul met his end.
