Star Wars Battlefront 2 just released a huge update centered around Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. This update included a ton of new Star Wars Battlefront 2 content, including 4 new reinforcements (Sith Trooper, Ovissian Gunner, First Order Jet Trooper, and Caphex Spy) as well as a new map (Ajan Kloss) and new hero skins for Kylo Ren, Rey & Finn. However, many undocumented changes went into the latest Battlefront 2 update, which we’ll be discussing today!

Mister K The aim assist settings can be found under advanced gameplay settings in BFV. They are set to 100% by default but can be disabled or modified. There is no mention of controller or game pad in these settings and I have never used one with BFV so I am fairly certain it is not specific to controller. The addition of this is likely connected to Dice increasing the TTK to entice new and more casual players into buying/playing the game.

yeah the co-op AI is totally broken. I think they can always shoot because they can when being pulled, pushed, retributioned (really hurts anakin) and even hit by and lightsaber etc. etc.

Something I DESPERATLEY need is to fix when the AI are able to shoot. When they are flying in the air, they can shoot. We they are lying on the ground, they can shoot. And now, when kylo freezes them, they can still shoot, which just makes the freeze just useless. If you try to freeze and frenzy you get smoked by AI and it just ruins how kylo gets to play in co op

CO-OP has an occasional glitch (at least on Xbox One) where if you pick a specific era and faction, after completing a match/round the next one you are put in will place you in the opposite faction with that faction's goal on the map, but the objective tells you to do what the faction you are supposed to be playing as to do. Rather annoying and kind of breaks the game.

Another hidden Easter Egg that I don’t know if you’ve found yet is the hidden time line. The celebration edition design is actually a hidden time line from Dice with Clone Wars in the past, Sequel Trilogy in the present, and Original Trilogy coming next followed my more Sequel Trilogy.

​@@matteofontana8446 Yes, the helmet order (left to right) is first (past) clones (Prequels), then middle (present day) Sith Trooper (Sequel), then close right (near future) Stormtrooper (Original), and then at the end (decent future (I'd estimate sometime around July)) is first order Stormtroopers (return for bigger Sequel drop). (I don't believe the end of the row is the end of updates it just as far as Dice has a vague plan/idea for.)

There is a weird bug in co-op that used to happen before and still does - sometimes game will change your team, meaning you will be the only First Order trooper and rest of players that were in team with you, well, they're now your enemy. Also let's not talk about the thing that I was Kylo Ren and AI was able to spawn as ...... Kylo Ren LOL

I’m not sure if anyone else has already picked it up yet, but the reduced jet-pack recharge time Starcards for the aerial class now applies passively to every aerial that isn’t the First Order Jet trooper. The cards are gone, but their effects are now part of the regular loadout for the aerial class.

I am enjoying this update but dammit I just want them to be more inclusive when it comes to coop gameplay variety. Can we just have a coop mode where every single hero and reinforcement is available and every map as well? It sucks that certain factions only play in a small number of maps and the hero and reinforcement availability is so divided among factions, while some heroes are excluded altogether from coop for no reason. A mode that includes everything for people to choose from would be so much better and much more fun despite not making sense lore-wise, at this point I don't think people would care, especially with so many characters having identity crisis in the lore

The only change to Rey's face are the textures. Mesh is same. Anakin still looks like a mix between Hayden from the side and Lanter from the front. And the Left and Right jaws are asymmetrical.
