Star Wars Battlefront II Mods (PC) HD: Battles of the Storm - Mygeeto: Final Thunder

WATCH IN HD! Campaign maps are always a treat in SWBF2, there are tons of mods and maps out there but very few every include an engaging and fun campaign mode alongside them. Even rarer is an entire map pack complete of such maps, with only the likes of Dark Times II and the Aldura Campaign attempting such a feature. What Lorul1 brings us here today is an incredible entry into that category. This is the BRAND NEW Battles of the Storm map pack by Lorul1 which offers 5 all-new Campaign maps telling the story of his fanon Clone legion, the Storm Squadron 70. Not only does the map pack offer 5 all new maps, it also adds tons of new features including new units for both CIS and Republic including new playable Jedi, pilot vehicles during ground battles, first person vehicle cockpits, multi-storey buildings which make use of a fantastically innovative elevator system, some brilliant scheduled animations and flybys during battle and finally, moving and fully destructible capital ships in space battles. Wow, that's a lot of content. The gameplay also features the popular over-the-shoulder viewpoint as seen in the Clone Wars Era Mod BETA.
This is the fifth and final map in the pack, Mygeeto: Final Thunder. Smashing through the CIS blockade over Mygeeto, Squadron 70 have been joined by Captain Xantron for their final battle on Mygeeto. In the final battle against the Cataclysm Droids, the outcome of the entire Clone Wars depends on Squadron 70's imminent victory, however will their celebrations be cut short when they receive their final order from the newly declared Emperor Palpatine himself...
When playing as the Republic, you will receive objectives from Squad Intelligence to fulfill the mission and finally defeat the dreaded Cataclysm Droids here on Mygeeto. Just like the other maps in the pack, the map also has some impressively scripted animations such as the moving capital ships in the sky over the battle.
Both CIS and Republic sides have been revamped, the Republic are now complete with new skins and units forming up Storm Squadron 70 who are now sporting Phase II armour for this final mission. New units include all the clone captains and commanders from the previous maps: Commander Lorul, Captain Xantron, Captain Sourapple 70 and Commander Masterperch. The CIS has been completely revamped and the side is now made up only of Cataclysm Droids and also features new units such as the Cataclysm MagnaGuards!
All in all, this is a fantastic map pack and features some ground-breaking new features that warrant a download alone. Go ahead and check it out now!

Plus, if GameSpy hadn't shut down, Battlefront II would still have plenty of servers up like it did before the fact. Even now there are still ways of playing multiplayer with randoms. Also, I rather have a game with a barely active multiplayer than a game with shit multiplayer and essentially no singleplayer, which is the case with Star Wars "Battlefront" 2015. "photorealistic environments" - Are you comparing the graphics of a 2015 game to a 2005 game? You're lucky your parents didn't abandon you at birth when they found out you were so cripplingly retarded. But in all honesty, I rather have a 2015 game with Battlefront II's graphics than a game that has its development time almost completely spent on graphics resulting in a game with shallow garbage gameplay and almost no content. But unfortunately people like you are so childish and dumb that they buy games just for the graphics even though the game could be a complete piece of shit. If Battlefront 2015 had average graphics and wasn't tied to Star Wars, nobody would even play it. It would belong in Steam Early Access because the game has 4 fucking maps lol. But luckily you can get buy the "Autistic Consumer Edition" of the game for $120 to unlock the DLC. But even with the DLC, you can still find more crust inside a hobo's dickhole than you can find content within Battlefront 2015. "being able to fly the Millennium Falcon, Slave I, being able to play as Greedo, Lando Calrissian, The emperor's royal guards, Dengar" - All easily possible in Battlefront II with mods which Battlefront 2015 doesn't have. "being able to play as Nien Nunb" - Who the fuck would want to play as Nien Nunb? Nobody likes Nien Nunb. Nien Nunb sucks ass. "being able to customize your character to be a scout, shadow or shock trooper" - Battlefront 2015's character customization is shallow and absolutely fucking pathetic. Battlefront II's class system is an infinitely better system in terms of gameplay implementation. Plus, with Battlefront II's class system you can be an ACTUAL scout, shadow or shock trooper with their ACTUAL weapons and abilities through mods (in the case of the shadow or shock troopers). Simply having the appearance of a shadow trooper does not mean you are a shadow trooper when you have none of the things that make a shadow trooper a shadow trooper. Battlefront 2015's character system makes every player feel like a randomized scavenger who picked up random weapons off the ground while Battlefront II's class system actually makes you feel like the class you choose because you have their actual weapons, equipment and abilities. Additionally, Battlefront II's class system prevents every rebel from having shields and jetpacks and prevents stormtroopers from being 60 year-old ladies with their helmets off - all of which makes no fucking sense at all and is laughably retarded. "many more skins on the way" - If your idea of a good deal is paying $120 for the ability to look like more characters that aren't at all unique gameplay-wise and the ability perform some extra unfunny, autistic dance moves on the battlefield - all after a significant amount of time after a game's release, then you definitely have more than one of good ol' chromosome 21. "not to mention that you can have massive 40 player matches" - This has to be satire. Are you... are you serious? Are you actually fucking serious? Battlefront II supports 64 players fighting alongside and against HUNDREDS of AI. In addition, Battlefront 2015 has garbage lightsaber and vehicle combat, a "token" powerup system designed for babies, barely any weapons or equipment to justify such a shit customization system, and the best weapon in the game was a preorder bonus. In conclusion: B U Y E R ' S R E M O R S E.
