Battleship Schlieffen - great DPM with secondary weapons

Schlieffen - German Tier X battleship.
A project of a high-speed battleship with four main battery turrets and a displacement of 50,000 t. She was 30 m longer than her predecessor, making her the largest among the draft designs conceived by the Construction Office of the German Navy Headquarters in 1918. This project represents the largest and most heavily armed of all German battleships, extending up until the elaborations of the early 1940s relating to the H-class battleship.
Schlieffen was first introduced in Early Access in Update 0.10.9.

How do DDs see out of smokescreens?

If their team mate has an enemy ship in sight and spot it

If the enemy team mate is within firing range and has a line of sight. Also, if the enemy ship is within range of their conceal after firing. Ex. Venezia has a smoke conceal after firing of 10km, so even if it disperses its smoke, if there is a ship within 10km and has line of it sight, it will lose its conceal.
