These types of battleships are known as 'Pre-Dreadnaught' battleships, as HMS Dreadnaught, when it was launched, made every such vessel before her obselete in almost every way, and to an extent is the basis for pretty much every major ship design from then on. This particular one appears to be based somewhat on the Majestic, Canopus & Formidable classes of pre-dred' ships.

The scuttle is an emergency self destruct system. It's mostly used to prevent the capture of a ship. Most famously the German high seas fleet scuttled it's self while being held in Scapa Flow after world War 1.

XO is the Executive Officer CO is the Commanding Officer. NCO is Non-Commissioned Officer (navy is E3-E9(Enlisted ranks 3 through 9). And they are hatches not doors. Hatches have multiple locking points and are Normally steel, doors have on or two locking points typically, and are made of wood. Bow(pronounced bow(bowing to a king)) is the front Stern is the back Starboard is the right (was call steerboard side due to extremely older ship having the rudder off set to that side) Port is the left side (that is where the gangway is, and where the ship docks). “Bunks” are call racks. Fair Winds and Following Seas.

My apologies if I get something wrong I'm not Navy (because i get sea sick in rough water) or a captain of a ship and i know nothing about maritime law if that's still a thing in modern day but I thought you docked the ship on the starboard side. Also does the Captain of the ship allowed to leave the ship when the captain (may it be Male or Female [or other or you snowflakes]) knows exactly that everyone is off that ship both passengers and crew members everyone is accounted for and the Coast Guard has been alerted? Or does the Captain stay with the ship even when everyone is off (passengers and crew members)

The docking the ship on the port side is done traditionally, but you’re correct other wise. And the Captain is allowed off the ship, so long as they are in port.

OneKingEighteen 1K18 also, he coast guard doesn’t need to be alerted when the crew is disembarked. But when the pull in or shove off the coast guard is the first to know.

So I did a little thinking and I determined that those guns are 250 millimeters, which is typical of warship primary batteries at that time. The arrangement too gives me a thought that this might be one of the later modernized (as of 1920) monitor type ships. (Sorry for my nerdness)
