Honestly, this is just a certified cram cannon moment. the 2 craft were both not able to dodge well and just ended up slugging it out at point blank, and that's where cram cannon's cost efficiency and alpha strike came into play. And yes, the canoe is a meme ship, as it's intended purpose was to be funny and not good. (unless you spawn the ship at like 2-3k m away against similar cost ships ig)

SO should we the viewers start prepping stuff to throw at you to use in these showdowns or is it all going to be your stuff. been meaning to get a Borgerwise Mk2 done at some point but i keep losing motivation. Biiig Guirly is hard.

@@BorderWise12 The original BorgerWise, (she is on the workshop if you want to grab her to see), is a bit old and is awful against lasers. CRAM's and APS, she can probably handle the Drakenslanng's loadout. Lasers and PAC's will core her in seconds. She's all active defence's and offence, but she's like 2m of alloy for most of her armour. She's also really inefficient in terms of layout, there was a strong element of going for an aesthetic with her. Hence the need to get the mk2 done at some point, also she's old enough to have gotten a bit unstable in flight last i looked.

wow, you spawned a very light armoured vessel smack in the face of cram battleship and it lost! Who could have guessed... Try spawning it 4km away and give it AT LEAST a fighting chance...

- 2000m spawn distance is something I consider medium range these days. It's the most fair for both short-ranged and long range craft, and it's hardly point-blank. - 8m of alloy is certainly lightweight, but it's still thick. The 500 also has a monster LAMS that made me think it had a chance against CRAM shells, and is pretty good at disabling them with it's onslaught of big shells. Turns out that wasn't enough, but that's kinda the point of combat testing. - If you'd seen the original Number 500 vs. Titanslang video, you'd know that against the older version the 500 did decently well for an unoptimized meme ship. That's what prompted this video in the first place.

@@BorderWise12they were so close they rammed into each other while trying to turn away; I understand why you didn't want the battlecanoe to win, but at least don't pretend you didn't know what you were doing when you spawned them the way you did. The last time it fared a little better because they were spawned side by side, instead of facing each other, and even then the canoe spent the whole fight trying to reach its target distance... In the game the ships have to sail toward each other, they don't magically appear next to their target: that's why speed and range are such an important part of the design!
