I always found Starbuck and Leoben's relationship in Battlestar Galactica to be disturbingly intoxicating. It was interesting how the entire line of the two models became so obsessed with Starbuck, and the toxicity of their relationship with Starbuck was fascinating

My theory that maybe Leoben and Kara in their prior lives were together or maybe they are both avatars of some higher beings who know each other well beyond this world, that explains for me their connection, the fact that kara's messenger has leoben appearance and that weird kara's dream with paint scene and that leoben foretold it...

@FaithLestrange They never really said. People have said this was a different Leoben than the one that she interacted with on New Caprica, but I think that's just to avoid the continuity issue of the fact that he obviously died out of resurrection range. Overall it seems like some models (the Sixes and the Eights) are more prone to having individuals who act independently than others (the Fives, the Threes, the Twos) and it wasn't really written consistently so it makes it hard to tell :(

It sucks they never really had closure before the last episode. I would have liked to See ghost Kira and Earth 2 Leo have at least a respectful nod towards each other. Last I remember he ran away cause she was a ghost.

Something that always confused me about Leoben. Every time he interacted with Kara, was it the same Leoben? Or was the entire model line obsessed with her?
