What happened ?

Game froze during the last mission. Downloaded a different anti-virus and I think it affected my comps resources.

Did you just lose the last mission’s progress?

Yes, unfortunately I had lost all progress for that mission, but I do redo it, but it's going to be different. Different, mechs, and how many show up.

Finally managed to catch up on your videos. Your manteuffel couldn't move because as the tooltip said, hulldown lasts until the end of the second turn, which is amazing tbqh. 90% damage reduction for 2 turns on a 4 turn cooldown (which is a net 2 cooldown?). As an aside, I think it would be nice to see you use battle armor, not because it's particularly strong, but it is cool and changing the tactics a bit is fun. Excited for the upcoming heavy cav force precisely for the latter reason. I also wonder, is the ostsol you got actually that good? It spreads damage like crazy and the mod either only makes pilots take damage from head hits above a certain treshold, or limits it to one time per attack, as well as allowing a roll to resist damage. Your actual headshotters are those with head capper weapons (direwolf and cyclops) or the corsair because, while it too spreads damage, it has many more tries to hit the head. Tbqh switching to regular pulses on the ostsol would mean than when you do hit the head, you deal all of your damage, not 1/3rd. Fewer chances to hit, sure, but that doesn't stop your DWF or CP.

Awesome! Yeah, I figured it had something to with the hull down ability after I recorded the video, which makes sense since that would be OP. Battle armor is coming soon! The Ostsol well, it does need to be replaced, and I'm currently hunting for either a HellBringer or Linebacker. The Ostsol just doesn't have enough energy hard points to make x-pulses worth it, which is why I was waiting on a certain mech, but never could find the right variant. I also am thinking of getting a Supernova down the road.

@@Dracolich001 BA on the way? Well now you got me even more hooked. A linebacker would be a great substitution due to how fast it is, but it doesn't have a lot of pod space and being an omni, can't change engine or structure. Supernova is a great mech too for energy boating, though being another assault it's quite slow. Might be worth salvaging more mediums and fast heavies. Technically, the ostsol is the optimal tonnage to go 5/8 (60 and 65 tonners have the most weight left than all other tonnages at that engine rating).

Yes. I am planning on showing a method to use a lance of BA that is quite interesting towards the end of the series.

That's probably why I kept the Ostsol around for so long. Just an optimal mech for it's tonnage. BUT it needs to be replaced!

@@Dracolich001 well you are steamrolling the opfor, so it doesn't quite need to be replaced as much as it isn't currently useful. It can be a great mech in a fast cav lance though. On the TT, the ostsol and ostroc are great mechs for being well armed and great punching mechs: all the weapons are in the torsos. Maybe turn it into a melee pugilist? Now that would be quite the head hunter of a mech...

Interesting and stupid that they used a Templar as their point mech in the second battle .

It could've been bad if I wasn't aware of my position. Fatal funnel with all my mechs bunched up, but yeah slow mech without support is awful.
