I'm glad I got in on the kickstarter cause yeah, price creep seems too steep for some of those new ForcePacks.

@@WRXSEVEN especially for vehicles that won't be used outside of extended campaigns...we could've had the tanks be prepaints from the Kickstarter or hell, 3rd Star League gets a Carnivore tank for example. Instead we get a coolant truck and a repair vehicle. I foresee many of these going up on the secondary market soon..

I think a portion of the price hike is also due to the Pre-Painted mini. Which honestly, yeah, I could do without.

@@Based_Lord_Humongous depending on what type of paint they use, the usual suspects won't always take the paint off. I picked up a few Mechwarrior tanks for Btech, and antiseptic strippers didn't do much to remove the paint.

Pre-painted don't bother me as long as doing so doesn't drive up the price. At the end of the day one can always re-paint a painted anything.

Hi Would like to know in battletech alpha strike do you mostly play clan star or inner sphere lance. And the new tank booster packs coming out what ones did you say to get two of.

I do not play AS all that much, but when I do I generally run IS. And usually at company level or larger... if I'm playing a small lance v lance battle, I always go CBT. As for the Vee packs to double down on... I think I said Heavy Battle & Sweep + Rifle and Command...

I’m mostly looking forward to the later boxes to bring my primary force (homebrew but with in-canon ties) to the ilclan era and not just old mechs being retrofitted. Not a fan of prepainted anything but oh well. I’ll probably skip the first quarter star league box.
