I played all the major overhaul mods except this one. Maybe its time to check it out.

The acid is a massive pickup, now you can bring down big targets faster, the streak-15s could be an upgrade to 1 of your front liners, maybe the Zeus?

That's a big maybe. Tonnage vs damage on the streaks have always been a bit of a pain point for me, especially for the streak (c)'s. If they weighed the same as their similar clan counterparts then I would say they're a definite upgrade, but the tonnage difference especially for the lrm's is a tough pill to swallow. When compared to the IATM for example, an IATM 12 (120 dps) vs a streak LRM 15 (c) (75 dps) despite it being about 200 some meters shorter range might still be a better option for a mid-liner. We'll play with it for a bit and see what we think - there is nothing wrong with making adjustments if we find ourselves in situations where having that additional range option for a damage drop might be worth it.

@@soulstrumlp9517 the later the game is the more important range becomes, & whatever they end up on will probably be supplemental to a short/medium build already

Not much to add - solid mission. I feel that acid ammo is going to work wonderfully. I'd have been biased towards the atlas, but atlases are my RP mech of choice. Now, if it was a marauder or a nightstar with the royal kit... Maybe pause a moment on the next clan heavy or assault tanks you see on the salvage board and watch for one with ecm and at least 4/6 movement - it probably won't have the best guns but if vtols are too flimsy, artillery is too inconsistent, and you're at max lance size for mechs, something that hucks an erppc and a few lrms from a safe(ish) distance might be... okay? And yes, I know that that's basically the wraith and not much else outside of some of the legendaries. Oh, on that note, ghost bear runs the twin uac/20 wraith btw so beware, lol.

All I heard was check out the cooler vehicles and Bears got them big guns we're looking for lol

I second the wraith tanks. Can't argue with 100ton stealth hover tanks backstabbing people

Hey...are all those building occupied? Um...never mind...

Bit sad that UAC20 was left. Would be nice with SRMs.

There'll be plenty more out there, it's just a matter of time :p

Do this mod slow down battles as much as battletech advanced does? I remember battles started to take an insane amount of time for AI to move, and that was what killed the fun for me even tho i love the mod.

Does this one slow down as much as BTA? That's a tough question to answer, at least for me - the last time I played BTA was many years ago so I can't rightly say if one has more chug than the other. What I can say is that every now and then, there is a unit that does like to drag it's heels when it comes to turn completion every now and then, and it's usually a vehicle or BA doing it. The only time where it becomes noticeable to me is on the Urban maps, but those are notoriously demanding depending on your settings. You can disable a lot of the urban clutter in the game menu, so that does help immensely. Unfortunately a lot of it is going to come down to what your current setup is. Having a cpu with plenty of threads is certainly going to help in this regard as they'll lighten the load when it comes to multiple tasks going on in game at the same time. For example, if you're running a 3600x you'll certainly see more chug or lag on the AI's turn than I would with a 7900x. Same with Intel. What I can say is that the RogueTech team has spent a considerable amount of time addressing this issue between previous versions and Lance-A-Lot and the difference is quite visible to me.
