Currently in the throws of imposter syndrome so I really appreciated the messaging here. Also, I took myself on a weekend trip for a concert last year too and it was fantastic. I'm already anxiously awaiting summer concert dates to be announced so that I can plan another one!

Coming from a different culture, something about this focus on the self, self-love, self-actualization and constant personal growth and progress just doesn’t sit right with me. But I guess it’s an American thing and being born and raised in such individualized, capitalist society that neither encourages or leaves room for different conceptualizations of life. (I actually think Megan is a lovely person and this is not a critique of her but my own observation as an outsider)

Right now, I can say in my late 30s vs age 16, I can say same. Don't got any more money then vs now. Then at least I had a high school job. Now, I'm unemployed trying to find work with health stuff going on, living for now on unemployment to pay bills. Got imposter syndrome as well cause ain't got time for anything else for now. Cause gotta be employed to have money not only to find and treat yourself as well as buy more healthy food because in this economy it's sandwiches and cooked ramen noodles with my choice of sauce in it for now. Glad to see you in 2024 and staying as positive as possible. It'll get better eventually in my opinion, it just don't feel like it right now. As an Aries as well, I agree as well to the day by day cause it never fails, life happens and sometimes throws a bowling ball or equivalent through your set planner self and screws up your hard made plans.

I promised myself that I would start putting my art and writing out into the world in 2024, and let me tell you, it has been terrifying hahahha I am in my early 30s and I never promote myself. I am the kind of person who posts on insta maybe once every few years. I am terrified of being perceived. But, I've been sending my writing to submissions and competitions, and I've been posting my artwork (I have also been having panic attacks every day too but that's a side note lol). I posted a painting of mine on a subreddit for some feedback and I was shocked well it was received! Now I still have the same imposter syndrome but now I get to say "Wait, didn't someone akin my painting to Rothco?" and tell my imposter syndrome to eff off. My bestie always says that you are rejected from 100% of the things you don't apply to and that is what I am trying to live by. Megan, love your art, you are absolutely an artist! To see your design vision come to life must be absolutely soul fulfilling

Okay but honestly being 30, at least for me does feel really amazing so far. I know myself so much better now, I'm very comfortable with who i am and I'm making healthy, and sustainable changes to my life because i love myself. I switched my self harm for self care and I'm truly proud of myself❤ I'm not and more impressed with the woman I'm becoming every single day.
