This. This perfectly summarized the feeling of panic and the stigma STILL behind mental health as a whole. Also, showing a perfect example of what a caring friend is. I'm putting this show on my list now.

As someone who suffers from social anxiety, I have found this show enlightening and supportive. Bravo, for tackling such a common but hidden aspect of mental health. Rarely do you see this type of drama in the UK.

"Not knowing the reason is the madding part " that is exactly how it is for me. I have GAD with a panic disorder. I used to have agoraphobia. I don't know what caused it. It just snuck up on me one day and it never left. After of a few years i wentnto therapy and gotten a better handle on it.

@@QueenofPlaylists My agoraphobia lasted 6 years. 6 years of my early 20s that I would never get back because I couldn't leave my house, so if you want to get a better manage on it then start now. I started making myself go outside. I would make myself walk to a certain distance like from my house to a few houses down the street. I would do this almost every day, to "train" my brain that I am alright that nothing bad is going to happen, etc. then after a while, go even further. There was a small playground where I lived, so once I got a better handle on it, I would go there and sit for a bit and go back home. Getting into a car took longer, more self talk, etc. But when I got a bette handle on it, I started going to therapy.

My heart goes out for people who experience this things on a daily basis. It must be so hard. I will watch it after I'm done with exams.

I feel a bit emotional now. This, this is exactly what it feels like. Trying to find that balance between knowing your own limits and asking for help, but also not wanting to look ‘weak’. Spending hours wondering ‘why can other people do this job/ this task so easily and i’m here barely able to breathe because of it?’. Kudos to the actors in this performance. And to anyone reading this who feels the same way, this 21 year old knows how you feel. We’re not weak, and we can still do the things we want to do, we just have to learn to do them with a couple of tweaks ♥️🤝

@@greenrose4159 Hi, I truly know how you feel because I’ve just started a new job this week. But, the way I look at this is that once I become comfortable with my new colleagues and make friends at work, I can be more honest with them and talk about how my anxiety affects the way I work too. This really helped me in my last job, so I hope it will be the same again! But, you know yourself the best. If you truly feel uncomfortable, then keep looking for a job and work environment that can support you- your health and happiness is most important in life! ♥️

There's a book called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels that I had on my work desk. It has mindfulness meditation exercises to do for each day. I liked it. It helped me detach from the stresses of work.

Todas las explicaciones gráficas son lo mejor del drama. En otras fuentes informativas encuentras explicaciones abstractas, complejas de imaginar. Esos ejemplos del drama son útiles como recurso ilustrativo para una clase de psicología nivel secundaria

I am dealing with this rn(I am 18y old) I can't go to school. I can't even sleep because i am scared to go to school. I can't tell anyone my parents do not believe in such things. I can't tell my friend because i am embarrassed. I tried telling my teacher but she said i am just lazy and looking for excuses to skip school. Idk what to do. It's not just school i can't go anywhere. Even texting is very hard. I feel so anxious when i see any message. I am so confused.
