I'm very impressed! Turkey is a much more feminist country than I thought. The women are performing in same traditional/ folk dances as the men, and they have the equally important role in the performance. They also do the same moves as the men and scream "hey!" That's something for a country with the majority Muslim population and major patriarchal past. WOW!!!

Do you know polygamy is illegal in Turkey?? Wtf you don’t expect that from a Muslim country?? We are secular country by the way and we can work anywhere we like or work with males why this is so surprising for you I really don’t understand I am offended

Arab and Turkish culture are not the same yes there are similar religious traditions but Turkey is an independent free country And anyone who wants people to do that believes in what they want.

Turks don't call them Грузинскиe танцы. I saw the Fire of Anatolia in Toronto. There were lots of Turks in the audience (Toronto is extremely multicultural). When, near the end, men in black flew themselves onto the stage and started dancing I was so surprised to see what I had been told was Грузинскиe танцы and the typical Georgian dress---back in Moscow, growing up. I asked the Turkish woman next to me what were they. She replied, "Or, these are the people who live in the north of Turkey." Totally awesome, especially the troupe's magnificent technique and musicality. I understand they got their technique by being trained with the Russian ballet choreographers. During the concert I realized how any different ethnic groups live---and apparently thrive---in Turkey, in spite of that horrid government.

The same question came from the Germans. No, the choreographer is Turkish.

Hükümetin korkunç olduğu doğru ama her olumsuzluğa rağmen Türk halkının bir kısmı bu düzene karşı direniyor ayrıca koreograf Türk.

Almost all choreographic figures are from figures of folk dances of different Turkish groups or different ethnic groups who live in different regions of Turkey. Mustafa Erdoğan who is magnificent choreographer of the fire of Anatolia is a Kurdish and a citizen of Republic of Turkey.💗🌹

Careful!!! There are no Kurdish citizen but there are Kurdish ethnicity in Turkey. Dont dare to challange me as I am Kurdish and Alevi so I am proudly a Turkish citizen of Republic of Turkey.
