BAUET, BAUST, BAIUST কেমন হবে? BANGLADESH ARMY UNIVERSITY REVIEW

I am a student of the ICE Department, 15th batch, BAUET. Recently, a senior from the 7th batch of our department graduated and went to Australia to pursue a Master’s degree. Another senior from the 4th batch will soon move to the USA. This proves that some allegations are false - you can achieve success anywhere from here if you have good skills.

Great to hear. I think ICE is the future as far as I know this degree focuses on AI & ML fundamental courses and also has hybrid job fields like communication field plus software field. I found this interesting.

Currently I'm studding at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET), Dept. of CSE. This University is highly qualified for Engineering Subject. এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নিয়ে যারা খারাপ বলে তারা আসলে এখানে পড়েনা কিংবা এখান থেকে ড্রপ খাওয়া স্টুডেন্ট। এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পড়তে হলে আপনাকে অনেক বেশি রুলস রেগুলেশন মানতে হবে। তিন সাবজেক্ট ফেল করলে কোনভাবেই আপনি উপরের ক্লাসে যেতে পারবেন না। ৮০ % এর নিচে ক্লাস অনুপস্থিত থাকলে আপনি পরীক্ষা বসতে পারবেন না। মেয়ে ছেলে ঘসা ঘসি করার কোনো সুযোগ নাই। আর টিচার সংখ্যা কম কিন্তু আমাদের যতটুকু প্রয়োজন সব সাপোর্ট ভার্সিটি দিয়ে থাকে। এখানে অনেকে চান্স পায় কিন্তু সবাই এখান থেকে ডিগ্রী নিয়ে বের হতে পারেনা।

For engineering, these universities are the best, especially for Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), and Civil Engineering. Additionally, the Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) department is doing well.

As a student of BAIUST i will never recommend students to study this University. Their Faculties are not that strong.They have no research facilities,tution fees are high,The campus is situated in backward place. And further more BAIUST is a C categorised University. Some of the countries like australia,usa etc countries has given restrictions to their courses its mean that you can not do your phd/masters to those countries. So go to Dhaka / any other reputed University to do your higher studies.

ভাইয়া Machine learning এর ফান্ডামেন্টাল বিষয় থেকে শুরু করে deep learning, computer vision এর প্রায় অনেকটাই শেখা শেষ। এবং বেশ কিছু প্রজেক্টর উপর কাজ করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশে জব মার্কেটের যা অবস্থা,,, এই situation এর মধ্যে ভালো ইন্টার্নশিপ থেকে শুরু করে job placement কিভাবে পেতে পারি?

How about you try to get some remote jobs? Phone that you will need some certification like project management, the scrum, agile, etc. You can start with some free certification from Google digital garage.

As a mid quality university, it is ok. But I would recommend not to rely on university certificate only. You also have to develop additional skills (hard skill, soft skill), network, some internship experience etc. to become employable.

Initially, they planned to name all the universities Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST). However, according to UGC, this is not possible, so they slightly changed the name. As an alumnus of BAUST (CSE-4th batch), Saidpur, I saw that ME, IPE, and EEE students could take advantage of the EME center of the Saidpur cantonment, which is equipped with great equipment. When we studied, we had great faculty members. They went abroad to pursue their PhD/Postdoc, taking study leave. But we are still doing research with them. But as we are now affiliated with different institutes, we don't use BAUST affiliation. Don't know the current scenario of the faculty members. Our programs are also BAETE accredited. Our alumni are pursuing their MSc/PhD in the USA, Canada, EU, UK, and many other countries. However, the university should work on international collaboration so that it gets easier for the students to pursue their higher studies.

Of course IUBAT. But my opinion is... If you can afford, go for NSU,BRAC,AHSANULLAH,IUB,AIUB etc top ranked Universities.

for CE, please ensure the regarding department of that University has IEB Accreditation. If you are determined for admission in ARMY UNIVERSITY, go for BAUET. Otherwise, AUST, IUBAT are better option.

@@audriaudrey782 Teacher quality and teaching system is poor.At the same time it’s Alumni are very week.On the other hand, it is situated in village and that's why you can not build up you properly. But if you have low budget then you can go BAIUST,BAUST and BAIUET etc C category University.Always remember top ranked university offers many facilities that these universities can't.

Totally false accusation. Maybe he failed the exam and told his father that others were using smartphones, but he didn't, so he failed. 😅 To make it more believable, he's creating a false environment. Here, everything is very strictly followed. There's no way for such actions.
