Thanks for posting - first time I've seen this since the original transmission. As a callow 15-year old, it was the coolest thing ever at the time. 'Shame no-one really remembers Riverside - if all the complaints after the first episode were a guide, it was pretty cutting edge. There must be a good chance that Nick Cave's first UK TV appearance was on it.

A great performance,,, **although it's obvious that past the 3 min mark for Bela Lugosi (and likely for the first track also) that Pete is not even miked up and it's a studio recording played...... no matter,,, they are the 'god fathers' of goth ...LOVE it !!

I noticed that too. It's all good. I enjoyed this. One of my many favorites by bauhaus. Peter Murphy looks just like an aristocratic, handsome vampire himself, which primarily is what captured my attention. Vampires and rock n' roll, two excellent combinations that go together. ❤️🦇🙂
