Winter Camping in INSULATED Tent | Snow and Freezing Temps

I went on a 2-day winter camping trip in my new insulated tent. Enjoy in 4K!

Fireman's chilli Recipe:
Mince beef 500g (1lb)
1 tin of Heinz beans in tomato sauce
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
Clove of garlic
2 oxo ( meat cubes)
Pinch of salt
Chilli powder ( mild or hot)
Brown the mince in frying pan.
Add beans and tomatoes to a saucepan.
Crush and chop garlic ad some to mince in frying pan and put rest into saucepan.
Add chilli powder to saucepan and one meat stock cube (oxo).
While mince is browning add a pinch of chilli powder and meat stock cube to mince to get the flavour into the ground beef (we call it minced in UK EK).
Once browned add the mince to the saucepan.
Add a little water if required and heat through.
It's ready in 15 mins.
Can be eaten hot or cold.

Use of a heater?? If it would make you more comfortable, absolutely yes. There is no way I'd be out camping in winter without my heater. You could leave out some of the luxury items if you need the room in order to keep warm. Maybe you refer to a heater like Mr Heater's Buddy Portable heater. I am 77 and I have one for emergencies. Last Christmas I bought my son one, also for emergencies. Of course, you'll also need to take a 20# propane tank (preferable because it will take up less room) or a half a dozen or more 1 # tank to feed the heater.

A minute into this and I already love it.. I put it on for something to watch while cooking up dinner but, I'm gonna eat and get settled in and watch the rest of it. Im out winter camping in northern MN right now. I did end up getting a 4runner. I would eat all of it, separate, but NOT together!! It's all good though. I would love the gravy over bread, with sausage on the side,and fresh sliced tomatoes!! Morning,noon, or night! Then the blueberry pancakes, butter, and syrup! With fresh cup of coffee! My husband would eat his dessert,sweets with his other food and sandwiches. Never had seen anyone else do that other than my brother-in-law, married to my sister. Him and my husband were kinda alike in ways,odd.

Yes!! That is what I found out! The movie was very very expensive! The production cost upwards of 750k!! The train wreck shot cost $42,000, the most expensive single shot in silent-film history…And that is the price back then.. if it was todays money it would of been over 12 million. The film did not make much money and took a lot of criticism. Very interesting though!

Great video! Next time you’re winter camping, you might bring a little 12v. heating pad to put in your sleeping bag on low. That’s what we’ve seen Slim Potatohead do. Love how you always seem to have so much fun!!😊

Kenny, what a great trip! I really enjoyed this one. Your gear is definitely upgrading each adventure. I like that tent. The chili was great in that bread bowl. I had lobster bisque once in a bread bowl. Its the best. Good thing that that fireplace didn't have a real flame otherwise after eating that whole pot of chili that tent might have gone up in a mushroom cloud overnight. Loved the sausage roll on the pancake. Hey, add a fried egg to it next time. When I eat pancakes i slip a sunnyside up egg in between each pancake. It's the Baum! You gotta try it one day. It has to be very dark out with little to no light pollution. When you get ready to take a picture you can set the max exposure to 30 seconds 👍

Hey Mr. Baum, just out curiosity, do you bring a firearm with you when you camp? If so, what brand and caliper is it? I only ask because I almost never go into the woods without my Smith and Wesson M & P 9mm.

I do, but admittedly I need to up my caliber it’s a .38 specials. So I have that, bear spray and an air horn. And I do also have a pocket pistol chambered in 380 auto. I plan on upgrading soon to a 10mm possibly.

@@BaumOutdoors If you feel that you need to upgrade the caliper of you're guns that's fine. I think those calipers are totally sufficient to defend yourself. The only thing they wouldn't be useful for is a bear in which you would need a 50 caliper to take care of that problem. We both know that most threatening predators in the forest that you will probably encounter is of the two legged variety. The 38 should do just fine and a 380 backup is really good. My wife has a Walther PPQ 380. We feel really safe with our guns. Anyway, awesome to hear that your protected out there! Love this video and I'm absolutely in love with that tent!
