We had the Babette steak prime grade and it was out of this world!!!!!!!! Good show, your steak wasn't overdone it developed a nice light pink center.

Usually use Bavette for carne asada tacos. We also call it ranchera aka flap meat. We marinate it in orange juice and some seasoning with onions and cilantro and beer.

That looks great. I do prefer medium rare steaks so they don’t get dried out, but as long as its tender is all that matters to me. When I reverse sear, my steaks always cook more than I want despite thermometer readings. The opposite happens when searing first for some reason.

Great video. This is one of my favorite cuts. I usually put it on the traeger for an hour then finish it off on the weber. Leroy if you liked this go order one fromsnake river farms and do a comparison video. Those are the best i jave found. Thanks again and keep the videos coming

That steak was cooked the way I like it. Some people say over cooked. I say to your preference. It can be anywhere from rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, and well. Its just what you like.
