He's still quite good as a jungler in a coordinated team. His passive is very good against regen heroes and his rotation is pretty quick too. Other than that, he's pretty inferior compared to others. There's just so many heroes that can do a better job than Baxia.

Baxia is the one that started this tank jungler meta after Moontoon introduced a revamped retribution, but unfortunately he lacks some sort of cc to either protect his allies or to make it easier to land his skills, or even as a initiation skill. Right now he is more of a situational pick, he’s really good against Esmeralda, Estes, and Kimmy, but Fredrinn, Hylos, Barats, or Akai can do much better than Baxia in most cases simply because he needs to snowball for him to be effective and a lot of team coordination

Man, barats passive is absolutely broken early to mid due to 100 phys and magic def, being literally unkillable in a 1v3 invading enemy jungle at level 7-8 lmao. In late i have 300 magic def somehow and lategame change ult heals me, with full dmg build. I heal 2,6k with my ult THROUGH ANTIHEAL and i have like 13k hp and bloody retri that heals a lot and burns you like HELL. You are contesting turtle alone? Ult the enemy, heal up and YEET the poor bloke into the rest of his teammates, stunning them and ensuring a prolonged stun with your 2nd skill in case your team arrived, otherwise you can just go away safely right after ulting cuz they all stunned lmao.

He’s definitely better off as a jungler or exp laner, he lacks the cc and protection capabilities to be an effective roamer.. enemies would just simply ignore him and go for his backlines, as baxia can only just slow them down while having one long cd stun.. and also cuz he can only target one at a time the way his kit is built, 2 of his skills are one-target shots.. for now he’s like a situational pick designed to hard-counter healers/sustainers and continuous dmg dealers.

Compared to other flex tanks like Akai, Fredrinn, or Edith, Baxia is much more harder to use since he doesn't have any built-in regen or shield and his main dmg skill (2nd skill) is hard to hit. Having said that, he's still a great pick simoly because of his flexibility. One thing to note, ALWAYS make sure you have another CC (whether stun or slow) on your team since he can feels lacking in CC even with succesful 1st skill's hit

Jumping while in wheel form covers more distance than just rolling and it also stuns ur enemy longer( 2secs when u jump and 1 sec when u just roll)

Tip : while rolling ...you can swipe the skill 1 in any direction and baxia will jump there and also jumping stuns the enemy longer than just hitting them ... (Many people only tap the skill and use the joystick to aim the jump) .

I will say its not about popularity. Its just, there are too many overpowered heroes in the current meta. Even though there are overpowered heroes are banned, there are still more left opened for both teams. I suggest it'll be better to nerf a bit for the current meta OR buff up the forgotten or heroes that couldnt stand a chance against stronger heroes

I've watched MPL PH Playoffs yesterday and OMG's Jungler Raizen picked Baxia, one of the shoutcasters stated that Baxia really requires snowballing in the game and avoid being get killed in the early game which that's how OMG failed because their objectives pattern has been destroyed and get owned by Blacklist easily. That does make sense because sometimes I use Baxia as Jungler but I require to know who the enemy jungler first to make sure that I'm always on top of taking objectives, for example heroes that farm slowly at the early game like Fanny, Lance and Gusion are my viable enemy jungler picks to be able to get Baxia as jungler in order to be always on top in terms of objective takings.

I think his low pick rate is due to small aoe skills. Anti-regen is always good but a tank that can't set up or stun in an area is not very good for a roamer, sure he's good as a jungler but that's about it, he's only good in exp if he's going up against esme , yz or other regen heroes

I think the reason is he lacks a dependable team CC skill and a big damaging skill that can secure objective. He is outclassed by the likes of Fredrinn, Martis, Akai and even Balmund in securing objectives.

I dont really use Baxia as jungler or exp laner but I like him more as a roamer, to me he the best tank in the game, fast rotations (second only to johnson), stun, can slow down and deal dmg with second and third skill, he can sustain a lot and used with vengence he is almost unkillable and can go in and out of a fight quicker than any other tank (maybe hilda is a bit faster). Also is the tank I enjoy the most playing I would recomend using him in solo Q because he is a great roamer that can carry even the most difficult games (he is also a menace in the late game btw)

Problem with baxia is enemies can easily get out when he uses his ulti or even with skill 2. You can chase them still bt there's no "finishing blow" to kill an enemy so you still had to rely on teammates to assist or kill. Just like what happened in the video where aamon escaped even if he's low HP.

One problem with Baxia is how buggy his 2nd skill CD is. Sometimes the CD starts on cast, but sometimes the CD starts when the timer ends. They may have fixed it since I haven't played him for a long while, but it's one of the main reason I dislike him.

Its not a bug, the reason why the cd starts after cast is because you didn't hit a jungle or hero. Read the second skill description, it say the cd resets if you hit someone except minions.

My personal tip: Execute is the best spell when ur using baxia on roaming or exp, baxia can be great when in comes to ganking and 1v1 he doesn't need spell vamp nor vengeance to last longer you'll just have to relly on ur 2st skill,passive, and ult but if u are using vengeance they're are cases that low hp hero's will escape so its best if its execute so u can chase n secure ur kill u can also use it to lower ur enemys hp by 40 to 20% so your team can kill it Edit: I started using execute on him because i got tired of watching my enemys run away with 10% hp after an intense 1v1

A useful tank but enough cc skills. Once you miss your skill 1 then you will rely now on your team mates.Skill 2 is good if you are good at aiming at the enemy but if they are agile it will be hard for baxia to spam that skill.

baxia is that type of hero that you can't use in solo game. he need a teammate to gank some enemies and dealing high damage to a sustain enemies. in Indo server, many players tend to scared of Estes for some reason. with baxia, you can be pretty much counter the whole purpose of having estes in their team, which is healing.
