As a 10 year IRL LE vet, the only law broken was your Dukes of Hazard jump over the public roadway and the equipment violation, which is a “hummer” ticket. Outside that, meh. My suggestion, know the laws, don’t stop cars and then look for a violation and remember, you need probable cause to stop a vehicle. And relax. Not every infraction deserves a TS. You’d have to do something really stupid or there had to be a real threat to the public to get me to stop you. Especially in the snow. When it’s cold outside. And warm in my car. Just sayin’.

Mike Workman um hell no cops pull people day or night, cold or warm. They don’t pick and choose who they pull over. They could lose their jobs if they don’t pull over someone, even if it’s a minor crime like reckless driving, it could be a danger, it’s a public safety matter. Especially if the officer decides to ignore it and someone gets hurt due to an ignorant officer, the department could be sued.

Daniel Vlogs Reckless driving isn’t a minor offense. It’s a culmination of several traffic infractions that equate to one sever charge. Tossing it around like a weaving over the roadway or failure to maintain lane is not only ignorant, but shows the lack of restraint and responsibility on the behalf of the officer. Officer discretion is what I’m referring too. If you drive through a yellow light, that’s not a big deal. Roll through a stop sign at an empty intersection, meh... close. Blow through one, yes. You’re getting stopped, no matter the conditions. As I said, I was a REAL cop for 10 years. And a Sergeant to boot. Pretty sure I know what I’m talking about. 🙂

I've been watching DOJ since it came to GTA V and in that amount of time, I've never seen officers try as hard as they did in this episode to give someone a ticket that wasn't doing anything wrong and wasn't being disrespectful. Especially Val P. The scene was all but wrapped up and he really wanted to get Buggs for something. "We don't have anything on you, but let me look and see if I can find anything to get you on"

Valerio Pucci No big deal. I don't expect you or anybody on DOJ to be perfect. You're RPing the best you can as what is considered a very difficult real-world job and sometimes it just doesn't go well. From a viewers point of view, part of the fun of watching DOJ is seeing how LEOs react to any situation and how well they handle it. In my opinion, this stop wasn't handled well, but it isn't worth taking my opinion personally. If you feel there were mistakes that can be improved, you can learn from that, or if you don't feel anything was done wrong, that's OK, too.

Stop trying to make excuses for your fuckup. He was not reckless driving he went over a spot that he slid down not intending to do so while offroading. It was a very slow decline slide and not a fall and to top it off you guys had mistaken him for polecat at first anyway and the first words were not anything about the slide down the side but how he " was going one way and then another every time he saw a cop on mirror park". The whole situation started because of you guys trying to harass people not doing anything illegal. by all accounts, the harassment of the offroaders forcing them to leave the area hastier than planned caused the situation. If you were so concerned about something happening you would think maybe not harass someone doing nothing illegal. Yes, a accident could take the life of someone but so could slipping in the shower. it's called accident for a reason. The actions of the officers and Air1 would be just as much to blame for that accident if it happened because you harassed them to the point of the accident.

There is also a big difference between breaking laws and not breaking laws. Actually like I said he would not have been there if the harassment had not started. Once they started harassing them they decided to leave the area. You also have to take responsibility for your actions. the liability falls not only on them but you as well. Maybe you should have thought for a god damn moment yourself. The most he could have been charged for after he accidentally slid down onto the road would have been trespassing which would be a ticket as it was not Criminal trespass and should not have taken more than a few minutes. The only time he started trespassing is when he slid over the edge of the path and onto the road. Also, we all know you were trying to put him through the wringer because you guys actually wanted polecat. The first thing said to him was you saw us on mirror park and were trying to evade us going one way and then another every time you saw us. Funny thing was still was not doing anything illegal and it was not even him and pretty hard to not know a black and bright green truck from a black truck with a camper. There should have never been anything like you guys were doing which was following them around like hungry dogs looking for a bone even while they were doing nothing illegal. You have to be held accountable for your actions as well as they do. You also can't blame air1 for your shit. Yes, air 1 fucked up and probably should not even be been in the air in the first place but you should have to know the laws. Just as the cop who stopped polecat. O you were just offroading not illegal and it took all of 3 minutes to clear that issue up. Yet it took you guys 20+ for nothing more than possible trespassing that was not even criminal trespassing.Something just does not add up to what you are saying.

JBtheExplorer what you do not understand stand it's not one mistake is a bunch that keep happening. It ruins their videos and what they are trying to do. This is a Rp game that they are supposed to follow real laws and the laws of doj servers. There is also a command system in doj. Once you reach a certain level and become police or even other positions you should know the laws and rules but it seems like way to many do not. You can hear it in their voices and by the things they say that they are getting very frustrated at this point. Take the off-roading stop on Buggs. It should have take. 3 to 5 minutes tops at the most he could have been cited with a minor infraction of trespassing when he slid onto the road because it was not criminal. These guys were trying to figure out way to basically throw the book at him and this went for 20+ minutes basically ruining a video for him .I mean who wants to watch a 40 minute video where over half the video is just him sitting listing to there guys try to figure out how they could get him for doing nothing illegal.

The guys rp'n these cops tend to stop people just to stop them. There is a law that says they cannot hold you for an unreasonable amount of time. Pulling you over without knowing an actual law that was broken and then going back and forth trying everything they can is against the law. I do like how they gave you a "warning" at the end even though there was no law to give you a warning for. If they want to rp it correctly they shouldn't stop people unless they actually know the law. I guess we should just b e glad they are not real cops.
