As a correctional officer for over a decade, I tried telling the new self-entitled officers hired that we can only run the prison as long as the inmates allow it. They come in acting like they're so bad ùntil they realize how outnumbered they really are and by then it may be too late. Treat others with respect, keep your word, and live with integrity. Most of the inmates especially the guys over 35 are just trying to do their time and be left alone. We have a majority of the population doing 20 years to life with nothing to lose. Watching some of these videos should be a reminder that if you come across the wrong officer any of us could be doing time !!! Learn to live your best life and mind your own without being disrespectful to those around you. Don't let anyone stomp on your rights, but we don't need to wake up looking for reasons to be mad or offended either. When We the People have had enough, all hell will break loose!!

Humans are becoming more strange at an alarmingly rate. It's not just these great videos, it's everywhere. Behavior in general is becoming increasingly awkward. So many people feel the need to be above or "have something" on another person. I'm 47yo and it has not always been like this.

@@valentinius62 so it's just an issue of social media and platforms like KZbin? I'm not old at 47, nor am I young. But these last 5-8 years, something in society has changed. I'm neither religious, or homophobic. I try to not carry hate, or judge others. But before 5 years ago were there so many youth dressing as the opposite sex and mutilating their genatls? Government officials who we employ as directors of mental health programs, but are confused about their own identity? Suicides? Rampant drug use? I disagree sir, things have gotten worse. And they've gotten worse recently and fast.

@@michaelolin2219 Before we were born, it was fairly common for white mobs to drag black men out of their homes or jails and lynch them. Even smiled and posed for pictures with the corpses. During my lifetime they had Coloreds Only this and Coloreds only that. Later we had massive anti-war protests and riots during Vietnam. Kent State. The Stonewall riot. Oh, and race riots all the way up through the Rodney King beatdown. We had drug overdoses and suicides galore. Bombings and terrorist acts all over the place...Weather Underground, PLO, Red Brigades, Black September, Puerto Rican separatists, Molluccan separatists, SLA, Black Panthers, Unabomber, etc. Then there was the Gordon Kahl/Posse Comitatus shootout, Ruby Ridge, Waco, OKC bombing, Columbine. Mass shootings and random bombings go waaay back. And some of the most prolific serial killers evah! The freaks, the drunks, the perverts, the druggies, etc. have always been there. In some ways it's actually more peaceful now. But that could change, and may even be changing now. I just don't want to be one of these people who talk about "the good old days", because they never really existed. I try to not be disingenuous.

The law - in theory - holds people accountable. They feel uncomfortable talking about the law because it shows a) what they don't know and b) it reinforces that the cops need to stay within the bounds of that law. Cops like to lie about the law because it then allows them to bully and intimidate more effectively with their threats of arrest for things they don't like.
