El Merengue Culé I actually found the 13-14 Real that thrashed Bayern 5-1 on agg. more menacing. The 16-18 weren’t dominant and won their clutch games by sheer luck or ref mistakes (yes, I am still salty about 2 offside goals against Bayern, joke red card vs Vidal, not given penalty for Bayern, Casemiro thugging without getting booked 😂). In the semi final in their own backyard in 2018, Madrid admitted that Bayern was the better team.

the thing is there was such an abrupt change with Bayern this season! When they were under Kovac they were a completely different team until Flick came in! They should dominate the next few years
