I’m a gamer myself, but don’t your calculations show that gamers are 5.67 times more likely to be homicidal than non gamers - even if the overall homicidal incidence in the general population is low? I’m a student of data science and trying to get my bearings. Thanks.

Empirically, yes, but you are comparing such small numbers and proportions that you cannot take it seriously. No statistical significance : ) you cannot take a common attribute and associate it with an uncommon one.
