This seminar covers the basics of Bayesian principles, starting with binomial and univariate normal models, then progressing to simple and multiple regression. Key topics include model construction, specifying prior distributions, graphical representations of models, practical aspects of Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) estimation, evaluating hypotheses and data-model fit, and model comparisons. Examples use R and Stan.
