A tip for the cookies, when the dough seems too wet even after adding a bit more flour, try refrigerating it. Letting it rest and chill can help firm it and allow the flour more time to hydrate to take in that excess moisture

Try the peanut butter cookie recipe and add smashed almonds and chocolate chips.. It's easy and quick.. Also make sure the sugar is granulated because it changes the consistency. Don't add too much baking powder and put a little vanilla and backing soda.. Just 8 minutes in the oven and it's done

I asked my Baker friend what would do that to cookie dough and she said that using fully melted butter can do that. And it can cause the weird consistency on the top and scorching the bottom. They recommend just using soft butter is melted butter was used

My finger print scanner did the exact same thing on my s9+ but when the purple completely scratched off the scanner completely busted 🙈, I would be trying to log into something and I’d get blocked out, my phone would randomly sit there thinking i was trying to unlock it 😂 was very frustrated as the face scanner took forever to recognise me too

late advice obvs, but stick dough like that in the freezer for a bit, really helps with baking (your baking powder might be old/bad which might be causing the problem)
