Baynum Painting refurbishes Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point

Baynum is currently at the "top of their game” while repainting a world class coaster. At 420-feet high, Cedar Point’s Top Thrill Dragster just edges out Six Flags Magic Mountains, Superman Escape from Krypton as the world’s second tallest roller coaster at 415 feet high, which Baynum Painted in 2010.

That's insane! I always thought they sprayed the paint on. That's a lot of work! Dragster was definitely due for a re-painting. It looked really faded last time I was there. Can't wait to see it all fresh and new looking!

Wicked twisters wheels melted on me and my brother back around 2011. We had little yellowish marks all over us that burned like hell. The marks cleared up after a couple months and the pain went away after a couple days of the incident. Still am scared to ride the wicked twister after that which is a shame because it was one of my favorite rides there lol

You have terrible luck. I've been on it every time I've been, since it was built at least. Even twice a couple of the times. It does have a lot of downtime though. You just gotta be patient. It's worth it.
