Oh boy! The references in this game is off the charts and it's chapter 1. And that city. So gorgeous! The game looks so nice to the eyes, it's breathtaking.

Haha, gotta love the Sega references abound. Other than the halos obviously looking like Sonic's rings since the first game, Enzo mentioned Alex the Kid (referencing Alex Kidd, Sega's first official mascot before being ditched for Sonic) and Akira Yuki's Tetsuzanko is on sale too (can you actually sell Baijiquan techniques?). And of course, per Nintendo, the promised Star Fox costume is available to buy for Bayonetta.

I find Umbra mode more effective, specially against the big guys, both use a full magic gauge, so yeah.

Torture Attacks are only really good if you want that extra little bit of combo points of a near dead enemy or want their weapon

If I want to deal damage to a single enemy I actully prefer touture attacks. Especially against tougher enemies latter on. Greed, Resentmeant, Sloth and Allegiance most notably.
