-Hello and welcome to my Halo Farming guide for Bayonetta 2.
-In this video, I'll show you how to maximize your score to gain the most combo points, and thus halos, possible!
-Before we begin, you'll need to have unlocked the following things:
1. Bracelet of Time - Beat all chapters with a minimum of Gold ranking on 2nd Climax or harder.
2. Jeanne - Beat the game on 2nd Climax or harder.
3. Gaze of Despair - Buy in the shop for 100K Halos.
-Now that you've got the necessary ingredients...let us begin!

@@glooplovescheeseitz4563 you'll only get the second climax brace or/and the time bracelet. The second climax brace only make your umbra climax stronger while the first one allow you to have infinite magic

So what I do is i just play the level normally (I have climax brace and Gaze of despair active) on infinite climax, then when im on sapientia, I just use all the midases testaments I have after the boss is knocked out and ready for climax. I dont climax tho, I just continue to do the basic punch combo holding and shooting on the final blow and he just keeps shitting out halos lmao

Thanks Daedron, this is the most efficient way without having to do difficult combos and taunts. Just do the 3 first battles and quit before the boss, don't lose your time trying to combo the boss on hard and gaze of despair. Just repeat battles 1,2,3 until you have 5 million, then buy Rodin Weapon Rodin Weapon + Bracelet of Time will turn Hard mode into Easy mode, this way you will unlock Climax mode. Do the above steps now in Climax mode for bigger earnings. I haven't checked if you could use Rosa instead of Jeanne for bigger earnings and i don't know why Jeanne earns more than Cereza Update : I checked Rosa, she earns a little less than Jeanne but finishes the battles in much less time than Jeanne, so maybe you should use her. (a yellow lolipop is needed in battle 3 in the bridge as the enemies one-hit KO Rosa in Climax gaze of despair mode)

Um... There's a better way to do this using the same chapter and equipment. Play as Bayo's mom, go to this chapter on infinite climax (it gives you much more halos), use PPK since that combo has little to recovery, and go nuts. I also recommend doing the Muspelheim in that chapter since it gives out a hell of a lot of halos.

Mr. Blah Rosa kills too quickly and also doesn't get increased points during Witch Time. She only gets about half the halo's per run, though she does complete the stage faster, but not fast enough (mainly due to load times) to beat out Jeanne's halos/hour.

To get the Bracelet of Time you must get a gold medal or higher on every chapter in Normal mode or up, in which it'll appear in the shop for 200k halos; while the Gaze of Despair can just be bought in the shop. (Not exactly sure about Gaze of Despair, as I haven't unlocked it in quite awhile.)

Hi! So I'm a newbie in this game (and this kind of game also) and there are so stuff about this I don't understand at all. Probs because I don't really understand how combos work. Thing is, I understand why the Gaze of Despair ("stronger enemies and also will also attack you so you don't lose your combo), but, why Jean?? why does that matter? And also, why the Bracelet of Time? couldn't you do this with the regular Witch Time?

You pick Jeanne because in Witch Time, she gains a 2x multiplier to combo points compared to Bayo's 1.5x The Bracelet of Time is to give you as much Witch Time as possible = more points When enemies are Enraged (by the Gaze of Despair in this case) the amount of Witch Time you get from a dodge is negilible (it's like 0.4 seconds). So that means it's not a valid way of gaining combo points either. Hope this helped.

Shouldn't have been patched. Remember that the amount of Halo's you get depends on the amount of combo score so you can probably squeeze out a bit more in the combat sections.

I got the Platinum Ticket back on the Wii U version... Never again. No matter how well I timed my dodges Rodin always fucked me over. I tried the Bracelet of Time, but it caused me to do worse instead of better, it was completely unreliable. I did better WITHOUT the Bracelet of Time. Nah, I'll just use the cheat and spend 5 million halos to get the weapon instead. A hard ass boss fight for one weapon isn't worth it to me, not to mention it's cheaper to use the cheat than to get the ticket.

+Christian G. Enemies will have more HP = more combo points but I'm not entirely sure if the time/halo ratio is better. You could try though.

The section with just shooting, the video jump cuts between you just shooting it, with a static 1x multiplier, to killing it with the usual maxed out one. Do you gain multiplier by punching it a bit too, or really just shoot and dodge?

FFKonoko Just shoot and dodge, the points don't get added until you do 4 different moves or until the enemy dies and the combo "ends", so it stays at 1x until the very end where it will immediately jump to 9999 x 9.99

It does, but the mech gains more magic than normal, so it outweighs the magic loss.

I think enemies on Easy have less HP, but Normal/Hard HP is the same, so choose whatever you want.

You might be dropping combo at some point or not activating witch time at the appropriate times. Those are the only two things I can think of assuming you pick Jeanne and have the Gaze of Despair equipped.

Mario Increases combo points by 1.5x, you'll lose out on about 1.5 million halos per run if you don't use it.

"Normal" but many players have commented on it being easier than Bayonetta 1's normal. Though I think this is just because they played Bayo 1 and have more experience. That and some of the cheap annoying stuff has been removed.

As long as you remember combo score translates to Halos you should be able to figure out what the problem is, compare your combo score at the end of each verse to mine. Sounds to me like your combo is dropping mid-verse.

Oh sorry, I meant the combo score you see at the medal screen of each verse. The counter maxes out at 9999 but it still goes up, it's just "hidden" behind the scenes. For example I get 20 million combo points total on the first verse which will net you 500K Halos.

2nd climax works well enough, inf climax replaces most enemies with higher HP ones so it might be possible to get more halos from those, but it takes longer to kill them so...perhaps it's not a higher return rate, didn't really test it.

For some reason, it works better with Rosa and/or Jeanne. I honestly don't know why but it's a fact and anywhere you look for halo farming tips, they recommend either Rosa or Jeanne.

Jeanne gets a 1.5x combo multiplier bonus in Witch time = more halos Rosa kills quickly = faster clear times = less halos per run but more runs per hour.

Any chest that you've already opened before will contain a green or purple lollipop the next time you open it. If you can find a chest located right at the beginning of a chapter, you could open it then exit the chapter and repeat to get lots of lollipops.

16dylan2 There is actually a chest right at the start of this level that after you've gotten its original loot, that has a magic pop in for me. There's also a chest in the Verse 2 area with Urbanes with a mega magic pop in.

P refers to "Punch" so PPP is just pressing the punch button 3 times for the basic punch combo, and air P is doing a punch while airborne.

This is infuriating. I have all of the items, and really REALLY wish you showed the ENTIRE portion of fighting in the beginning. I cannot keep a combo up and I have no idea where this stupid fucking mech is going to go because I hated using them in the game and I hate it now, I can't seem to control where the punches go but can pure plat lumen sage on 3rd with NORMAL fighting. CHRIST what am I doing wrong?

Easiest way to keep combo is to just hold down the shoot button as you move from enemy to enemy. If you cannot control where the punches go, use the lock on. But generally just holding the stick in the direction of the enemy should do the trick to land your attacks.

At the gunship rapidly press the y button and it will score you max score very quickly
