Honestly, this is one of my favorite games to see in action. Although I've never played it, the overall grace and flamboyantness of the characters make the game all the more alluring. These combos feel EXTREMELY satisfying to land. The demons make it all the better, using Baal to shoot poison balls, Labolas to brutally murder with chomps, and Diomedes lunging out with his demonic horn. It feels so satisfying.

When I get a Switch, this is the first game I will be buying. Just hopefully I'm caught up with the story before Bayonetta 3 is out. Also, These combos looked very sick! I personally like the Chernobog and Alruna. The whips is now far versatile compared to the first. I hope they return the Odette, and hopefully the moveset is a bit limited yet they could come up something cool like similar to Rakshasa with the Umbran Climax and she breakdances and doing Ice slashes from all directions. and all that.

why would you worry about combos when you could dish out some massive damage, with fewer button presses.? get it? the other weapons are just flashy and do less damage, and leave you wide open when you try those crazy combos.

+dearius brown Combos yield more halos and give out more magic, which is important for me since I like using Tetsuzanko a lot. From my experience in Bayonetta 1, using slower weapons like fire Durga and Kilgore ends up getting you hit more unless you put them on your feet, whereas the nunchucks gave you a lot more freedom to do what you wanted. Personal playstyle preference, I guess.

i like getting money at the end of beating a boss, or level(mostly on higher difficuties). i dont recognize more halos gotten by doing long extensive combos.. i mostly space with a powerful combo in mid air in bayonetta 1.. but bayonetta 2's enemies ai work differently and are more unpredictable and powerful imo.

Dang it it's really difficult for me to preform all those combos because alot of times I press the A/X button for example: the X button is for punches & the A button is for kicks but when I press the X button it preforms a kick instead. Same goes with the A button but it happens alot wich makes it difficult for me to do my favorite combos. Does this happen normally? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Can someone help me?

This happens to me too, but only after the prologue chapter, and it happens sometimes, not always, for me at least. I'd say about half the time it kicks when i punch and vise versa. I don't understand why either, it is so annoying that it made me stop playing the game completely after chapter 4. I'm replying to hopefully get an answer as well. Sorry I couldn't be any help myself. D:

+Alterthemind Yeah, Umbran Climax functions like the climax brace in Bayo 1 but with some minor differences - Every standard move gets a wicked weave, and each wicked weave becomes an infernal weave (partial demon summon). You also need a full magic meter to activate it. For this vid I am using the climax brace, but rather than automatically making everything a wicked weave like it did in Bayo 1, it simply gives you unlimited magic (allowing you to toggle Umbran Climax whenever you like, for as long as you like).

+Urser Actually is not the equivalent of Climax Brace, remember when you fight any of the Audito?? Well when she does, she enters her so called"Serious mode"(her hair becomes long) and every move make a Wicked Weave(with Infernal Weaves exception), in Bayonetta 2 the Umbran Climax is like a short Serious mode that allow you to mostly destroy enemies and bosses faster and easily(depending mode) or turning the tables either way it is a good improvement, i really disliked the Magic Meter being full in bosses, it made me feel like it was a waste
